"omg liz, can you imagine we play on that festival we request last week" tim told me on the phone.
"omg, so deserved. you guys are great" i answered him.
"okay, I'm on my way to pick nick up, i will call u later bye" he said and hang up the phone.
you probably wondering who tf is tim and who is nick? okay i will explain.
hello my name is lissy, but my friends call me liz, I'm 22 years old. tim and nick? well tim is my "best" friend and nick is his band mate. i love their music and do my best to support them. I always try to help them as much as i can and mostly i help organize their gigs.
i can't believe they will play at a huge festival, I am so proud of them!
there was a knock on the door and as i opened it i got overwhelmed and hugged.
"wtf what I-" i was confused but as the person let go of me i realized it was tim.
"i though you would call me" i asked.
"yeah, but as i set nick off to his girlfriend, I thought it would be a good idea to come over. also I have good news for you" he answered and started walking into my apartment.
"more good new?" i looked at him "you already told me the biggest best news today. congrats. btw".
"well, true and thank you but i talked to the band a-n-d..." he said getting slower and slower.
"and what tim?, c'mon say" i pushed him.
"you're gonna go with us to the festival! you are so supportive and we need you" he started.
i couldn't believe it and i could feel tears start running in my eyes.
"no way, serious? wow i never thought i would be so important for you guys" I said jumping in his arm.
"you wanna drink something?" i asked while i let go of him. he agreed and i got us two beers.
"it would be nice if you could help us planing this trip" he said on the way to my couch.
"of course i will. just give me a list and i will help as always." i said joining him.
we talked till late in the night, then he left.
i am so excited. they ask me to join them on that experience.
that festival is new for me, it goes almost 2 week with the program, different music genres and has a lot of different stages and bands. i heard it is incredible and i never expected i would go there but here i am.
