Chapter 10
"For you, would you choose to know how you're gonna die or how your loved ones would die?" tanong ni Keith sa akin habang papasok kami sa gymnasium.
Today is the awarding ceremony. I'm a bit nervous for what's to come but I reminded myself about what I came here for. It's also a good way to avoid self-disappointments.
Pagkatapos nito ay uwian na.
It was still around 8 AM in the morning and it is said that the ceremony will start at 9. So the people were just starting to fill in the gymnasium. There are still blank spaces which means that the other schools aren't here yet.
"Good morning, everyone!" pagbati nito sa lahat. "How's your DSPC experience? Did you enjoy it? Is it fun?"
Not much, Sir.
"I know it has been a long two days for us but now, here we are at the very end of the event, the Awarding ceremony!"
I glanced at Jaime who has been silent since we arrived here. He was just looking at the stage, nervous and pale.
He eyed me badly for making fun of his situation. "I'm not fine. I'm so nervous!"
I displayed a contorted expression. "For what? Tapos naman na ang contest mo."
"It's awarding! Baka 'di kami matawag... Natatakot ako..."
I sneered violently. "Who cares if you don't win? It won't make you less of a person. Did you enjoy broadcasting yesterday?" I asked, waiting for an immediate answer.
