Monokuma: A body has been discovered! After a certain amount of time has passed, which you may use however you like, the Class Trial will begin!
As Homura rushed to my side, we both knew that it was for real. Masato was dead - the Killing Game had claimed another victim. It didn't take long for the rest of us to scramble onto the scene. Tetsuo. Shouko. Ukyo. All came, eventually.
Kira: I guess we found them.
Iori: Well shit. Not again.
Kira: I thought we knew better!
Sasuke: And we didn't. End of story.
Mayu: I can't look...
Usagi: Don't you dare look! Same goes for you, Chie!
Chie: Wh-why, ribbit?
Usagi: He's gone. Gone and kicked the bucket. Not a pretty sight.
Chie: But Usagi...
Usagi: Just go do something else! The Class Trial will sort everything out, have I made myself clear?!
Mayu: (sigh) I guess so.
Iori: No surprise there. I always knew he was going to get himself killed.
Nanae: What the- no! It can't be! I can't believe it-
Sasuke: Listen - when that body discovery announcement went off, you had ample time to prepare yourself. It wasn't like some gratuitous jumpscare thrown in simply for its own sake.
Nanae: Re-really?
Iori: Of course.
Tetsuo: Somebody has succumbed to the urge, and we must find them!
Sasuke: ...Like you?
Tetsuo: No, not me, you perro sucio.
Sasuke: Hmm. For shame.
Homura: What do we do?!
Reiji: What we did last time.
Monokuma: Yes! What you did last time!
We all turned around to see that while no one was looking, that godforsaken bear had showed his ugly mug once more in person. In his paws he carried a black file, and he seemed primed to throw it.
Monokuma: You know the drill by now. After all, wasn't Mamoru enough for you all?!
Reiji: (Mamoru. My best friend, warts and all. Way to twist the knife there...)
Monokuma: Now then, CATCH!
With those words, he threw the file into the air and allowed it to flutter down onto the ground or into one of our hands, whichever came first. Nanae and Tetsuo both made a run for it, but lucky me, I caught it before them.
Monokuma: Finder's keepers, loser's weepers! Now let's get crackin'! Upupupu~
And before we could even begin to comprehend what was going on, he was gone.
Homura: ...We investigate?
Reiji: We do.

(Investigation: Plaza)
As Ukyo fished out Masato's body from the fountain, I took a glance at the Monokuma File that I was lucky enough to catch first. I read it to myself, albeit with both Kira and Asuka looking over my shoulder.
