My eyes fluttered open, and I saw that I was staring upwards towards a bright light shining into my eyes. There was no doubt where I was after that... incident with Tetsuo. I was still alive, but was he...? Ukyo had every reason to want him dead, after all...

So, I turned my head to my side, and I was aghast to see his green hair and yellow, snake-like eyes stare into my soul.

Iori: Hey there.

Reiji: You're alive?!

Iori: That's the big problem with us all. Everybody wants me dead, but nobody wants to be the one to do the deed. You know why?

Reiji: They'll get executed.

Iori: Bingo.

Reiji: ...You still sicken me.

Iori: Well, if you don't want to see my great visage, then leave. That is, if you can.

My head injury must have been a tad less severe than, you know, getting repeatedly stabbed with a scalpel, so I mustered up all of my strength to haul myself out of bed. I wasted no time in abandoning Iori - that son of a bitch.

Oh, and it didn't take long for me to regroup with everyone else. They were gathered at a staircase on the third floor, almost certainly to go up it. Monokuma must have given them the memo, that me and Iori couldn't hear, but I wasn't in the mood to ask obvious questions.

Sasuke: Hey, Reiji.

Reiji: Hi. What are you discussing?

Kira: We've been trying to arrange the groups for our fourth expedition.

Reiji: Right, discounting Iori, 'cause nobody trusts him and he's bedridden anyways...

Kira: One small problem: this is more akin to a madhouse!

Chie: And why's that, ribbit?

Ukyo: I attempted to murder Iori in the heat of the moment in violation of my Hippocratic Oath, Tetsuo is a vigilante serial killer who could possibly murder Iori...

Sasuke: I'm a shameless kidnapper and manipulator, and you two women have no common sense!

Homura: (sigh) So, what are we going to do?

Kira: Keep a steady eye on all of the loose cannons. I heard that you're familiar with Homura?

Reiji: Yes, I knew her in middle school.

Kira: Okie-dokie! You go with her then!

Sasuke: Why the hell did you have to say that?

Kira: I'm... I'm trying to keep a good face up.

Sasuke: Optimism is dead.

Tetsuo: And soon you will be.

Kira: Right. You're the two biggest troublemakers here, so I'm the one keeping tabs on you both! Tetsuo, make sure Sasuke doesn't wander off and cause trouble. Sasuke, make sure Tetsuo doesn't go anywhere near the infirmary, for obvious reasons.

Sasuke: And that's what you call a symbiotic relationship. I prevent him, he prevents me. Tit-for-tat.

Chie: What does that mean, ribbit?

Ukyo: Well, I-

Asuka: So that leaves me to accompany Chie and Ukyo?

Kira: Yes.

Asuka: I shall defer to your judgement then.

Reiji: As always.

Kira: We all set now?
