The light shined into the bunker that we had took refuge in; the light of the outside world's blue sky which we hadn't seen for, say, a month? After everything we went through, it was like eternity.

When we ventured out, we came face-to-face with our apparent saviours. I remember their leader - he was a well-grizzled, middle-aged man, with dark red hair and eyes, wearing a dark brown bomber jacket. On it was a nametag reading: "HIDEO OTONASHI"; I figured out from that detail that he must have been the founder. He was flanked by two other men, both equipped with copious amounts of protective gear, and others were searching the ruins.
First Man: Put your hands up where we can see them!
Asuka: O-okay!
We did exactly as they asked us to, and then Hideo, with a booming voice, asked me some questions.
Hideo: So, are you truly Reiji Suzuki, as our leads say?
Reiji: I am, sir.
Hideo: Alright, let's see who these people match up with. Reiji Suzuki, Asuka Miyamoto, Ukyo Sakou, and Chie Midoriyama.
First Man: That's twelve bodies accounted for, with four survivors.
Second Man: Roger that. Is it accurate?
First Man: Sounds about right.
Hideo: Confirmed.
Second Man: Yes, boss.
Ukyo: Ah, so... do you have our best interests in mind?
First Man: We do.
Second Man: Why else would we have arrived at the scene?
Asuka: Mind you, how did you even figure out where we were?
Hideo: We got tipped off about Sasuke Akechi. He was wanted for numerous cases of kidnapping, including that of my daughter Ryoko, and when you all vanished, we tracked his current location through footage he had left behind. The thing is - he called it the "Killing Game", am I right?
Ukyo: You are.
First Man: Well, we are aware that you are all innocent of any wrongdoing, as we was able to see everything through the security cameras that Sasuke had set up to record these proceedings onto the dark web through an .onion link.
Chie: So that's why there were so many cameras around, croak!
Reiji: The dark web? Please elaborate.
Hideo: (sigh) Yes. We find a lot of footage relating to the Killing Games on there every day, and we shut Sasuke's stream down as soon as he started it... he had no idea that we could eventually trace him down to the Kojima family mansion.
