She was gone...
When Mamoru died, I took solace in the fact that at the very least I still had Homura; the only other person I already knew. He told me, even from beyond the grave, despite his own personal troubles, to keep her safe.
I had failed to uphold that promise. She was dead.
And all I could do now was find out who killed her...
Reiji: Yo-you killed her, didn't you?!
Sasuke: Nuh-uh, wasn't me.
Reiji: I mean, you was literally standing over her body with your hands on the-
Sasuke: Geez, stop jumping to conclusions already! What are you gonna do, blame me for everything?!
Reiji: ...
Sasuke: I mean, sooner or later we're all gonna die here, so we might as well just cut our losses and get this over with, am I right?
Reiji: I can't let you do what you're doing-
Sasuke: And if we don't work together now, we're all dead! You, and me, and her!
Reiji: Yo-you mean Asuka?
Sasuke: Maybe.
Reiji: Look, Sasuke, you're the-
Sasuke: Come on, don't get me started all over again! We need to investigate! War makes for strange bedfellows, as they say.
Reiji: (Something told me he knew far more than what he was letting on...)
Sasuke: Look, Monokuma's even left the bloody file out on a desk! Aren't you gonna pick it up or somethin'?
Reiji: ...Fine.

(Investigation: Biology Lab)
Of course, I had to do as Sasuke said; and he was correct. On one of the tables was a familiar black file. I picked it up and read it out.
Monokuma File #6: The victim is the Ultimate Forger, Homura Yamaoka. The victim's body was discovered in two different places. The estimated time of death is unknown. The cause of death was a fatal wound to the chest. No other injuries were detected.
Reiji: It's hardly given us any information. We don't even know what that other place even is!
Sasuke: Huh?
Reiji: Something's wrong. I'm sure of it.
Monokuma File #6 has been added to the Truth Bullets.
To investigate matters further, I then knelt down besides Homura's corpse. Her cheek... it felt cold. Very cold. As if she had been dead for hours. But the body discovery announcement had only gone off a short while ago... so unless her body had been left to rot, then... it was just so strange.

Of course, there was also the matter of the Shogun Yamato naginata impaled into her chest. Maybe it killed her. Maybe it was inserted post-mortem.
Reiji: Explain, Sasuke.
Sasuke: What?
Reiji: Explain how this got here.
Sasuke: I took it.
Reiji: Really?
Sasuke: For sure. Actually a lot lighter than it looked, haha.
