Part 3- meeting the avengers

"Ok we're here" Steve turned to face you "you ok, sweetheart?" You took a deep breath and replied "yea just nervous especially because 1. They have no idea I am here and 2. Because this might not even work out" You all got out of the car
"Y/n," Bucky grabbed your hand and bent down to your level "hey that orphanage may be a nice place but we promise you, you're not going back there"
"Really!" Tears filled your eyes "omg thank you!" You pulled him up and into a hug "you're welcome doll" he wiped your tears away and you followed them both into the compound, as you walked in you were in more and more shock the deeper you went in "y/n do you think you could wait here for a second" Bucky called back to you "yep, sure" Bucky and Steve went into a room what you thought was the lounge, heard murmurs coming from there, then you heard Steve say to someone called Tony; Ohhhh Tony that must be iron man I've heard the name before "Tony do you think you can call a meeting we have an announcement"
"Sure, FRIDAY call a meeting"
"sure thing boss" she called back
Then from behind you, you heard a high voice and you couldn't tell if it was a girl or boy "hey, you, who are you and what are you doing here?" You turned around and saw a young man/boy who you hadn't seen on the news before, but before you could reply you heard Bucky call for you "y/n you can come in now, and also just ignore the spidey boy"
You walked in and saw the avengers all staring at you, at YOU of all people, yesterday you were an orphan and soon you were going to have two dads and the Avengers for Aunts and Uncles

"Uhhh hi, I'm y/n and I am Bucky and Steve's soon to be daughter" you smiled shyly, Steve and Bucky walked over to you and gave you a reassuring smile
"Hey kid I'm Sam"
"I'm Natasha but you can call me Nat"
"Clint"
"I'm Wanda"
"I'm Peter"
"Tony"
"I'm pepper"
"I'm doctor Bruce Banner but You can call me Bruce"
"I'm rhodey"
"This isn't everyone king t'challa and Princess Shuri are in Wakanda, The guardians of the galaxy are, well, in the galaxy, and Thor and his brother Loki are on their planet Asguard" Bucky explained

"So why she here" Tony said bluntly
"Well, at the moment we are fostering y/n and then tomorrow we will take her back to the orphanage and go forward with the adoption" Steve explained you smiled huge

"So kid you got any powers of some sort" Sam said to try and change the subject
"Uhhh well..."
"Doll have you got something to tell us?" Bucky asked concerned
"Well, I've never actually told anyone this but I guess it's better late than never" you turned your palm to the ceiling and a blue flame appeared in the centre,
"I can actually light my whole body on fire and also chose what part to be alight" you explain "it's not that important though"
"I like her, Steve you picked a good one" sam stated
"why didn't you tell us, doll?" All of a sudden you felt bad for not telling them before hand
"Sorry, buck it's just I've always lived with only my parents knowing and then they passed so I'm just used to keeping it a secret and I also thought it wouldn't come up"
"Oh, doll, I'm glad you felt comfortable enough to tell us" he pulled you into a hug then Nat piped up "so y/n if you have powers can you fight?" You laughed at her comment
"Well, the orphanage I live at may be a nice place, with nice staff, but the kids there are on a whole other level" you explained
"I'll take that as a yes then"
You laughed "yes, basically" you shrugged
"What do you mean basically?" Tony asked skeptically
"I mean they're ten so...?" I reply
"Well if you've got those two for dads and us as you're aunts and uncles you'll be a brilliant fighter in no time" Tony chimed in
You all sat on the sofa making small talk and mainly asking you questions about yourself and your life at the orphanage
A few hours passed and Steve said "sorry to ruin the moment but it's getting late and we need to take y/n home"
"Ok I'm getting hungry anyway, it was nice meeting you guys, I hope to you again soon"
"Bye y/n" they all chorused
