Part 24- Visitors

-a few days later-

You had spent most of your time on the couch or in your room watching films, you had watched Harry Potter with your dads and they enjoyed them very much, you were slowly getting better and Bruce said that if a few more days he will see if he will let you start walking again, you were only allowed to stand, to do things like getting dressed, you were getting used to your wheelchair and your arms were getting stronger, even though you are a super soldier as your dad always says 'just because something works doesn't mean it can be improved'
You were feeling a lot better mentally, and actually felt happy quite often, instead of sad all the time, and you were enjoying it very much,
All the avengers had spent some quality time with you in some way,
In celebration of you getting better, Tony being Tony wanted to throw you a party, so Wanda and Nat went dress shopping with you, you found it hard to find a dress that you could wear sitting down In your chair
This is what you picked out, you also figured out how to get it into your chair

-1pm-

The party was going to start at 4pm so when Nat, Wanda and you got home from the shops you all piled into Wanda's room to get ready, they helped you get into your dress first because you couldn't get into it yourself then the got dressed into their dresses, you all looked beautiful you all did each other's makeup and hair, Nat did two Space buns into braids for your hair

It was getting close to 4 o clock, but Wanda and Nat said they had surprise for you, you shut your eyes and you heard some rustling about
"You can open!" Nat squealed, it was some wheel covers for your chair
"Oh, Nat I love it!" You squealed back

"They go with your dress!" Wanda said
"Let's go, the party should of started 5 minutes ago" you all were very excited, it was your favourite thing to do as besties,
You went downstairs to see loads of people you didn't really know, you went over and Tony was introducing you to them all
-about 15 minutes later-
You went over to the bar and saw Nat handing out drinks, she grabbed you a coke and you started to chat
"You might want to turn around" she said with a smirk on her face, you heard loads of little squeals, you turned around and saw all of your foster siblings, but the twins, Ben and Beth weren't there, you gave Mr Cunningham an odd look and mouthed 'where's Ben and Beth'
"They got adopted, y/n" he said, you were happy for them but you were sad you didn't get to say goodbye, but before you could be upset, Charlotte, Maisie and Jessica came over and hugged you really tight "careful guys" Mr Cunningham said
"It's fine, sir" you said while laughing, you saw all the avengers laughing at you over on the couch mainly Sam, you stuck your tongue at him that turned into a smile
"Girls come here," you said to them "you see, the falcon over there, I think he wants a hug from you all" you said loudly so he could hear you and he lost the smile and started running, slowly, so they could catch up, they started to run after him, while they were occupied, you, Nat and Mr Cunningham went over to all the others and started to talk, Sam had eventually let them win and they all slowly made there way back to the sofa
"So, guys, how is it without, Beth and Ben?" You asked
"It's ok, but it's very different, like when grace left"
-grace was another foster siblings that you grew up with, she sort of acted like your mother, she was a few years older than you, she would be an adult now-
"Oh ok, I can get that," a fun song came on and you all started to dance together, even in a wheelchair you still figured it out
