Part 45- celebration

Can't believe we're at the last chapter, genuinely didn't think it'd go this far but yk, <3

A few months later
(you and yelena are both 16)

You woke up to a notification on your phone from an app called 'I am sober' where you keeping track on how long you had been clean, you were still in yelena's arms from where you fell asleep together last night, and she got to your phone before you could and she read out
"It's a notification from an app called 'I am sober' it says that you are" she gasped "six months clean baby well done!" She yelled
This caused papa and dad to come running in
"What happened?!" Papa asked worried
"Who's hurt?!" Dad asked ready to kill someone
"No one's hurt, just y/n/n is 6 months clean today!" Yelena squealed still excited
"That's amazing doll!"
"Well done sweetheart we have to celebrate!"
You just rolled over, rolled your eyes and groaned
"It's to early for this shit" you said annoyed, going back to sleep
Papa and dad both got into the bed with you and yelena, luckily you were both fully dressed
"How are we going to celebrate?" Papa said completely ignoring your annoyed state
"By letting the poor girl sleep" you said still annoyed "I wasn't going to tell you guys anyway, cause In my opinion it's not that big of a deal" you said the last little bit, quietly but the widow on your left and the super soldiers on your right and their enhanced hearing obviously heard you
"It is a big deal doll, now come on get up, we're going out for breakfast" dad said
You groaned and rolled out of bed onto the floor and grunted when you hit the ground, you just heard your parents and girlfriend laughing, you looked at them and rolled you eyes and walked into your bathroom

Time skip to lunch:

You sat at the island thinking about the dream you had last night, you hadn't told anyone but it was the first good dream you had, had in a long time

Flashback:

I woke up to two young kids jumping on mine, and Yelena's bed, I looked down at my hand and saw a wedding ring on my left hand
"Morning you two, did you sleep well?" I asked the two kids, they seemed very familiar, the older looking girl and young boy both nodded their heads joyfully, I looked next to me, and saw my wonderful wife waking from her slumber, it was as though we had rehearsed this, and I new what was to come, but in truth, this all felt familiar but I had no clue what was going on, it was nice though, peaceful almost

"Can you look after the kids for me, whilst I get ready?" I asked the tired women
"Of course моя любовь" (my love) she replied in her morning husky voice

I had a quick shower and got dressed then went downstairs to the lab to see a man that looked like Bruce but a bit older, he had wrinkles surrounding his eyes, and had a fully grey head of hair
"Morning y/n" he said as he handed me, my iron pill and put a blood pressure cuff on my arm
'We must still be doing the weekly check ups then' I thought to myself, then quickly reminded myself that this was a dream and probably will never happen

"Congratulations today y/n, you have hit your 7 years self harm free mark today" I heard a woman's voice awfully similar to FRIDAY the A.I I had created
Bruce let out a little cheer

And that's all you could remember before being rudely woken up from your sleep

"Y/n/n!" Papa shook you a little
"Yea?" you asked confused
"You zoned out there for a second, you okay sweetheart?" He asked worried
"Yea just had the weirdest dream last night, it felt a bit like a vision from the future, it was extremely strange, I'm fine though, it just caught me off guard a little" you explained
"You wanna talk about it?" He asked
You let out a little chuckle "no I'm fine" you took a deep breath "so what are we planning to do later then?" You asked
"It's a surprise, you'll see, go and get changed in to something comfortable but not to fancy" papa explained
Your face lit up and you ran off into your bedroom

In your room:

You got up stairs and went straight to your bathroom, you had a quick shower and did your routine, you were so confused as to what was going on

You decided to wear a pair of ripped jeans, and a t-shirt

You walked out of your room, to see both you dad and papa dressed in shorts and t-shirts, nothing very fancy
Dad handed you a blind fold and you shot him a confused look
"What's this for?" You asked
"Just put it on and you'll see" papa said
You shrugged and put it on, careful not to mess up your hair
They both guided you to the car and you sat in the back quietly, in your own confused thoughts

You were in the car for about and hour and a half, your dads having to entertain you because of how bored you were getting
"Are we there yet?" You complained
"Yes actually, you wait where you are for a second and we'll help you get out the car" papa replied with a small chuckle

You got out the car and saw this

There was a small picnic table and a selection of food, you were at the peek of a mountain

You let out a small gasp "This is amazing dads, did you two set this up?" You asked excitedly
"Nat did, she did an amazing job didn't she?" Dad responded
"Yea she did, I'll have to thank her when we get back to the compound"

You all sat down and chatted as the sun set behind the mountains

And that's it guys, I can't believe that's the end, I'm so sorry it's been so long for me to post this (I have attachment issues, ok? 😅)
But I have enjoyed this journey so much, and can't wait to start another.
