Casefile 1

(This chapter isn't dedicated to my cat Dash I was going to dedicate this chapter to her but I feel like a more exciting chapter would be appropriate(P.S this is 1400 words))

8 days later (again that that makes it the 28th I'm using the timeline on the HxH wiki)

A couple of days ago I got a call from Morel. He said that they were going to raid the palace. I asked where they'd meet and now I'm here watching Morel make everybody in the room feel inadequate by taking off his shirt. I was watching the others from atop one of the buildings. 'It would be hard for me to less hidden'

"Show me rock!" Gon was using his Nen ability on Morel.
The wind it was creating was so intense my hat nearly flew away. I could see the ground under Gon start to crack.

Gon was stopped by Killua putting his hand on Gon's shoulder "Gon... that's enough. Am I right, old man?"

Morel had so much sweat on him he looked like he was a swimsuit model. "Um, yeah"
After that display, I stood up to leave.

"Hey, you the creeper in the trench coat" The pompadour yelled at me.  (It's not a trench coat it's a Rorschach cosplay)

"Don't mind me, I'm just leaving" I replied trying to get away.

"Just come down already Jon" Morel asked re-doing his shirt. ("No" then he left. End of story)

"Ah fine" I said looking for a way down. 'How did I get up here?'

"This is the other hunter you were talking about master?" Asked the pompadour.

"Yeah-" I couldn't hear the next thing Morel said as I was plummeting to the ground.

"I think you guys can handle everything on your own" I dusted myself off from my superhero landing.

"How did you manage to survive your fight with the Royal guard?" Gon asked.

"I didn't, my master did survive though. I'm here in his place. He would of come but, he's a skeleton now" I lied. Everyone looked at me like I was some kind of weirdo.

"Wait what?" The Pompadour asked.

"Yeah he's dead, couldn't you tell we look and sound nothing alike" I asked trying not to let any sarcasm drip into my voice.

"No we can't see your face and you sound the same" Killua replied rudely.

"Well then you'll never know if I'm lying or not" I shrugged. 'So fuck you'

"Now, on to more pressing matters. We'll split up now. Go and fulfil your mission by any means necessary. Gon and Killua will take Neferpitou, as requested" I stopped him by raising my hand. "Yeah?"

"I'm going with them I have some negative emotions to work through" I asked. 'Also she has my phone which has lots of important information on it'

"Okay then? Knuckle and Shoot will take Menthuthuyoupi. Knov and I will take Shaiapouf. Best of luck out there" Morel explained the rest of the plan. 'I wonder who's gonna die?'

Time skip 9 days before the selection.

Me, Gon, and Killua were walking across the river to east Gorteau. I was using Abracadabra to make a bridge and to camouflage us.
