AIRI
I think I will have to re-take my self management classes 101. I cannot manage myself fully during the past few weeks. I can no longer manage the fast beating of my heart nor the horny caterpillars inside my stomach. Kulang na lang ay tatalon sila palabas sa akin para makipag-mate kay Sandro.
Kidding aside.
I feel different when I am with Sandro. He makes me act different from my usual self. He makes me feel things too.
"Let's dance?" He asked me while we were seated near their fireplace. It was midnight of Christmas. We have already finished eating dinner and exchanging gifts. I gave Atty. Liza a lipstick from Mac, a necktie from Dancys for Tito Bong and a Waifu pillow for Simon. It was a bit of a joke but whatever. At least may kayakap siya sa malungkot niyang gabi.
"Here?" I asked Sandro who was looking at me intently.
"Yes." He replied.
"Okay." I replied, nodding.
Sandro stood up and helped me up, pulling my hands. He smiled and took out his phone to change the music to Debussy-Claire de Lune.
"Are we Edward and Bella now?" I asked.
He laughed. "Well the difference is, you can dance while Bella can't." He replied, intertwining our hands together.
I chuckled. "Well I kinda took dancing lessons in high school but I am not so much of a dancer Sandwo."
"I think you'll do just fine Cinnamon." He replied, smiling.
We danced in the living room with Atty. Liza and tito Bong sitting on the couch, just watching us. I do not know what I have done in my past life to deserve something like this. Meeting Sandro turned out to be one of the important highlights of my 2016 and I do not know where I would be if I haven't shared that smoke with him, as cliché as it sounded.
"Aren't you gonna ask me if I have gotten you any gift?" I asked him as he twirled me around.
Sandro laughed. "I was thinking you were gonna surprise me with something."
I rolled my eyes. "As if I would."
"A man can hope, Airi." He replied, shrugging his shoulders.
"Suck it up I am not a surprise kind of person."
"Sure."
"You're not really gonna ask if I have a present for you are you?"
"No. It's up to you if you want to give me something or not. I would be glad and over the moon if you have. I would still be over the moon if ever you didn't get me one." He replied.
"Bakit?"
"Why what?"
"Bakit matutuwa ka pa rin kahit wala akong regalo sayo?" I asked.
He smiled gently. "Because you are with me and it's all that matters Cinnamon. You, me and my family on a Christmas vacation. You make me happy Airi and it is more than enough of a present. Especially when I see that smile on your face."
I pressed my lips together. Damn. This guy is making me smile.
I shook my head to hide my smile from him.
"And I got something for you Cinnamon." He spoke.
I looked up. "You do?"
Sandro nodded. "Of course. I wouldn't miss an opportunity to give you something without any reason."
