50. Again

SANDRO

"Heard they are leaving this evening." Simon spoke beside me.

I looked at him and rolled my eyes. "I do not recall asking you to report their every move, every minute, everyday. Can you like distance yourself with me?" He's been telling me what Airi and Vinny are doing almost every day ever since I came home.

I don't need to know if kumain na sila, lumabas sila, they are lounging in his study room when he's on break or if they were in his room already.

Simon smiled. "She looks happy with Vinny."

I made a face. "Pwede ba Simon, don't you have anything to do in your life?"

"I have a lot on my plate but my morning and my evening starts and ends with you."

"Ano ka bata?"

"Guys, breakfast na daw." Vinny appeared in my room. He has already taken a bath and dressed in his casuals.

"Airi cooked?" Simon asked.

"No. She overslept." Vinny answered and left.

Simon looked at me and grinned. "Overslept pala ha."

"Why are you looking at me?"

"Nothing." He snickered and left.

"Did you bring sun block?" Vinny asked Airi during breakfast.

"Uhuh." She replied, nodding her head.

"Powerbank."

"Yes."

"First aid, meds."

"Opo."

"Looks like a honeymoon instead of a campaign." Simon commented.

Airi choked on her water. "Hayop ka."

Vincent laughed, giving her a tissue. "Should we get married without you guys knowing?" He asked.

I looked at him. Simon kicked me under the table.

"Mama will go mad." I told him.

"Mama will be proud of me." Vinny answered.

Simon laughed. "This is getting interesting."

"Huwag mo akong i-shotgun marriage Vinny. Gusto kong magsuot ng wedding gown." Airi responded.

I choked on my bread. "Sorry." They all looked at me. Airi gave me water.

"Bakit Sandro? May gusto kang sabihin?" Simon teased.

"Nothing." I replied and drank the water.

"I was just kidding." Vinny told Airi.

"I was just kidding," Airi mimicked, rolling her eyes. "Sapakin kita jan eh."

"Chill." Vinny chuckled.

After breakfast, Vinny invited us to watch Lord of the Rings in the living room. I wanted to say no but I didn't want to look bitter or anything so I obliged. Simon was there too and he was beside me while we were watching. Vinny and Airi were seated in one sofa. Her foot was on top of his lap and from time to time he would tickle her and she'd laugh then kick him.

"Kilitiin din kita?" Simon asked.

I made a face. "Ew Simon."

"I was just suggesting."

"Order nga kayo kape." Airi asked.

"Kaya nga Sandro. Mag-order ka tapos libre mo." Simon seconded.

I rolled my eyes. "KKB."
