AIRI
Sandro and I decided to get married after moving together so we can legally have sex anytime we want. I mean, we are young, kailangan namin panindigan ang sinabi niya sa mama niya na we are dating.
Joke.
Sandro and I moved in our new unit after settling our matters in our old universities. We graduated college and immediately enrolled for our Masters Degree. It's kinda sweet because his parents attended my graduation kahit hindi nila ako anak. Sandro took his masters in London school of Economics while I took mine in a school across his'. Our place is just a walk away. Thankfully, may connections siya from his friends na name-meet niya sa DJ job niya so it was a bit easy to find one. Bartender pa rin yung work ko since yun yung hiring sa bar na pinuntahan namin and it was fine since flexible ang schedule.
Tita Liza and Tito Bong extended their stay and asked us to go home with them kasi we still have two weeks before going back to school.
"I will introduce you to my friends Airi. Is that okay with you?" Tita asked while we were heading to their house in Forbes.
I smiled.
"Not today mom. Airi and I have plans." He replied.
Tumaas kilay ko. Hindi ako aware na may plans kami eh. Baka magpaparami na kami. Baka seryosohin niya ang joke ko.
Or baka ako ang seryosohin niya.
"Oh. Where? Can I come?" Tita asked.
"No." He replied firmly.
Ngumisi ako. Ayan na. Madidiligan ako sa bakasyon na ito. Joke.
"Simon and Vinny?" Tumango ako. "Simon will come tomorrow. He just have to finish some requirements today. Vinny has exam week next week so he cannot come home."
Napasimangot ako. Pighati.
Maganda yung bahay nila. Minimalist na two-storey house na may malawak na lawn. Pwedeng magpagulong-gulong kapag nayamot ako kay Sandro.
"Sandro will take your bags in his room." -Tita Liza.
I shook my head. "I am dalagang Pilipina po na mahinhin. Ibang room na lang po ako." I told her kindly.
She looked at me. "Ayaw mong katabi si Sandro?"
"Hindi naman po sa ayaw. It's just that we don't sleep together talaga like never." I told her. Totoo naman kasi.
"That's odd. People living abroad who got used to their culture would normally adapt to it." She commented.
I laughed. I suggested.
Sandro stopped walking and looked at me. "You will sleep in my room." He said.
I made a face. Panira naman talaga. "Babe please. Nakakahiya kay tita."
