AIRI

Eros was always used to represent love and I have always wondered if they really knew the concept of Eros and the real definition behind it. It's love, yes. But it is also the kind of love that is passionate and sensual. Erotic as they call it. It's not even close to philia.

"What do you think of Eros, Sandro?" I asked him as we walked hand in hand. We just came from our work as usual. It's work day and money is more important than celebrating valentines day.

I felt him glance at me then turned back his attention on the road.

"Erotic. Probably for people who define love the wrong way." He replied, shrugging his shoulders.

I laughed. "Is that why you don't bring up sex? Afraid that it will be an Eros kind of love?"

I saw him smile. "Maybe. We kissed each other probably twelve hours after we met. How much more if we had sex after that? Eros would be so much happy he struck us with one of his arrows." He replied, rolling his eyes.

Tumawa ako ng malakas. "And some people think that getting struck by cupid's arrow is a good thing."

"I don't blame them but then sometimes you have to know what kind of love you are getting yourself into."

Tumigil ako sa paglalakad sa tapat ng building namin. He stopped too and turned to me. "What kind of love are we getting ourselves into Sandwo?"

Sandro looked at me for a while then smirked. "If we were to plan the love we are getting ourselves into, I'd go for agape."

Agape. It's the highest form of love and unconditional kind of love.

"Do you think it's feasible?" I asked.

Sandro laughed. "Well my parents started out as friends until it developed and look at them now."

I made a face. "Hindi naman siguro sila naghalikan nung friends sila. Mind you, your mom even knows about your dad's exes." I retorted.

"And I know yours. Kind of. Then you know mine. The only difference is, we kissed during our friendship and they didn't. Well, maybe. We never know." He said, laughing.

Parang gusto kong itanong kay tita Liza. I have her number. What if I asked? Joke. Baka hindi kami payagan magpakasal ni Vincent.

Since it was still a valentine's month and we decided to celebrate even though it was late, Sandro and I went on a date. It was Saturday and we were in the line to buy movie tickets. We already bought our popcorn and milkshakes.

"Why are we watching this movie again?" He asked with his brows furrowed.

I smirked. "Because we watched the other two parts and it would be disappointing if we didn't watch the last installment."

He rolled his eyes and walked on the cashier after the one ahead of us left.

"Two tickets for Fifty Shades Darker." Sandro told the cashier, almost rolling his eyes.

I saw the cashier lick her lips when he said those lines. Pinagnanasahan ata. My boyfriend is so hot. Oh my gosh I just said he was hot. Gaga Airi. Si Vinny ang hot. My mind battled. I looked at Sandro who was looking at me and playing with my fingers as he waited for the change.

"Yes Cinnamon? You wanna say something?" He asked in front of the cashier. I saw her wince in my peripheral vision. I do not care. Kung may i-fifty shades man si Sandro, it would be fucking me and not her. Ay. I sounded possessive for a while.

I shook my head. "Nothing Sandwo. I am so glad you agreed to watch the movie with me." I chirped.

Sandro rolled his eyes.

"Your change sir." The cashier spoke.

Tinabig ko kamay ni Sandro at ako na ang kumuha dun sa change. The cashier's eyes widened. I rolled my eyes at her. Baka mahawakan ang mahiwagang palad ng jowa ko. Hindi pwede. Not in her wildest dreams. OMG. I am starting to sound possessive. Sandro is ginagayuma me. Vinny gayuma where art thou?

"That was rude." Sandro spoke when we walked away.

"Ah so gusto mong hawakan kamay ng cashier?" I retorted.

He made a face. "What?"

"Wala. Tara na."

Sandro rolled his eyes. "Don't be jealous Cinnamon. She's not my type and she will never be my type. You're my only type." He said.

I pressed my lips together. Kinilig sina caterpillars, veins, heart and hypothalamus.

Tangina.

SANDRO

The movie has already started when Airi and I went inside the cinema. As much as I don't want to sit in front, we didn't have any choice because almost all the seats were full.

Simon was the first thing I saw when we went in the front seat. He was sitting down with a blonde girl, his arms around her shoulders.

"Fancy seeing you here." I whispered.

He widened his eyes at me.

"What are you doing here?" He asked unbelievably.

"Watching a movie obviously," I replied, rolling my eyes. "With my girlfriend." I added.

"Sino yan? Ka hook up mo?!" Airi asked excitedly as we sat down. "I-a-apply niyo ba pinanood niyo? Si Sandro kasi kunware hindi mahilig pero may tumataas kapag paluan scenes na sila." She continued.

I made a face and covered her mouth.

"I'll pretend I did not hear that." Simon replied.

"What did I tell you about behaving Airi?" I whispered.

"Kiss mo ako." She giggled.

"I can't kiss you inside the cinema but I'm going to make sure your lips will be swollen later." I told her sternly.

"I'll pretend I did not hear that too." –Simon.

---

"Claire this is my older brother Sandro and his girlfriend, AJ." Simon introduced as soon as we got out the cinema.

"Hey!" Claire chirped. She had a cheeky smile and a dimple.

"I'm Airi. But Simon calls me AJ. You can call me AJ too if you want." Airi replied curtly.

"I'm Sandro." Was the only thing I said.

"Nice to meet you two! But I am sorry I cannot join you for dinner. I have an errand to do," She turned to Simon and kissed him on the lips. It was quick but Airi and I saw it. "See you around Simon!" She said and walked away.

Airi and I were too stunned to speak.

Simon scratched the back of his neck. "We met in one of the thesis I was doing." He reasoned.

"So siya ang thesis subject mo?" Airi asked nonchalantly.

Simon made a face. "No. I interviewed her then we went out drinking and I liked her so I asked her out."

"Ah. Humabol sa valentines." –Airi.

"I did not. Please don't make a big deal out of it. It was just two dates. If we'd go out for the third time then I'll court her." Simon retorted.

"Is that your rule in dating?" I asked curiously.

"Kind of. Unlike you, kiss on the first meeting, live together and claim to be friends then label yourselves dating right after." He said, rolling his eyes.

I looked at Airi. "Did you tell him we kissed on our first meeting?" I asked.

"No she did not," Simon replied. "But I saw the two of you kissing in front of me from the couch where I was lying down. Imagine wanting to pee but I held back because I saw you two eating each other's mouth in front of me." He continued as he rolled his eyes.

Airi laughed. "Eto kasi friends kiss daw eh." She pointed at me.

I scratched the tip of my nose. Her lips were inviting that night and hell, it still is.
