"Hill, Kelsey Aira Hermosa.. with honors." anunsyo ng mc.
I didn't expect her to stay or even congratulate me, it's just her being her.
"Thank you! Ikaw din, congrats!" bati ko.
"By the way, I gotta go, our flight is in two hours." paalam n'ya.
"Ay, ngayon ba kayo aalis?"
"Yeah, I'll call you when we get there." he smiled.
"Open it," nakangiting sabi n'ya.
"Hala, thank you." sabi ko at binuksan iyon.
"I didn't know what to get you so I asked my Lolo and he said this would be a great symbol of love," he chuckled. "Since when people were away for a long time years ago, they wrote letters for each other."
"So, gusto mong mag-sulatan tayo?"
"No, a little too obvious," sagot n'ya.
"E ano?" takang tanong ko.
"We can write the things we'd want to talk to each other about like a funny story or something at a given time but since we're apart, we can write it down and give it to each other when I come back." he smiled.
"So, kapag magka-video call tayo or magka-chat, anong pag-uusapan natin?" tanong ko.
"Things we didn't write about."
Napangiti naman ako at tumango. I actually liked how he actually thought about his grandfather's suggestion.
"Hey, it's fine." sabi n'ya at ngumiti. "As long as you appreciate mine, I'm all good."
"I love it," sabi ko.
"And I love you," he said and gave me a hug.
"Ikaw, Evie? Itutuloy mo Culinary?"
