Andreia's eyes shined as tears streamed down her face, Andrius was just looking at him as his nose and ears turned red. They looked like they were glued on the couch while Andrei was trying to stop his tears from falling.
"Andreia.. Andrius," Andrei looked like he couldn't form a sentence as he was looking at our kids.
"I'm sorry, love.." bulong ni Andrei.
"D-Didn't you love us, Daddy?" hikbi ni Rei.
"No, I love you, Rei.." Andrei consoled her. "Don't ever think that, Daddy loves you, okay?"
"B-But, why weren't you here?" umiiyak na tanong ng anak ko. "W-why did you leave Mommy all alone?"
My heart hurt for my daughter. I never knew she thought of our situation that way, it was already painful for me but I have never imagined that it was a hundred times more when it comes to your kids.
"I'm sorry, Daddy was-"
"It was my fault," putol ko kay Andrei. "I'm sorry, baby, Mommy didn't listen to Daddy that's why he wasn't here."
Yes, I'm mad at Andrei but I don't want my kids to be. I now know that we were both at fault and there's really no reason for me to keep on painting him as a villain.
"I'm here now and I will never leave you again but, love, can you go to Mommy first? I really need to talk to your brother," Andrei told Andreia.
