So basically, I didn't think of it as a second part when I started writing it but I feel like, while the first part was building up to the adoption, the second part is more about what the adoption leads to in Skye's life.
I might as well add here that these chapters were written mostly bc I couldn't bring myself to finish the story, so don't expect much from them lol😸
