"you did not marked me?"

the brunet guy's side of his lips rose up as he let out a bore chuckle. "not interested."

both of them exchange glances through their reflections in the mirror in front of the red-headed guy as the brunet just looked at him jadedly, leaning against the hedges of his bathroom's door, arms folded on his chest level prolly just waiting for the latter to finished fixing himself so he can finally have his freedom back... like as if he didnt gone wild, aggressive and territorial last night. just like how it should be done, as per usual.

"if you will take some time to use my bathroom, ill be heading out then and make sure we wont see each other again."

"why do you keep on running away, joshua?"

once again, the brunet just let out a chuckle. "im not interested."

before the red-headed guy could utter to complain and argue, joshua, the brunet guy already turned his back on him and started making his way out of his room, leaving the latter inside his bathroom. he was playing with his car keys on the way to his unit's salas but got halted once in his surprise, hansol, his best friend, was there in his kitchen tryna ransacking whats inside his fridge prolly was looking for some foods, as always.

joshua heave a sighed. "and you did not informed me you'll be here, early this morning? really sol."

"seungkwan was out early leaving nothing on the fridge for me to eat." the new yorker reasoned out as he even bended down to checked the brunet's fridge until he found a leftover from last night. "who cooked this? it looked delicious."

"mum cooked that. she gave me that yesterday."

hansol was about to light the flames on joshua's stove but got halted when they both heard the guy joshua had took home last night... just to fulfill his needs. the red-headed guy went out of joshua's room, and though hansol was so used of joshua bringing home his prey on his condo unit, it is still new to him to see a guy staying over the night with him instead of sneaking out after the sex. which happened to joshua every almost damn time. or so, it is the other way around as per the brunet, the alpha, wasnt interested.

the red-headed guy bade his farewell to joshua but greeted hansol before he made his way out of joshua's condo unit, leaving the two alone. joshua heave a sighed as he sat on the high chair on the barstool kitchen not too far from where hansol was standing, holding the tupperware where the leftover was placed.

"i did not see any marks."

"i dont want to be mated. not with him, not with anyone." joshua answered like as if he was on the late night show interview.

hansol's side of his lips rose up. "but with that specific omega?" he said in a teasing manner while playing his both brows, staring at his best friend.

that made joshua rolled his eyes. "shut up, sol."

the new yorker chuckled. "come on josh, you're hansome. a lot of omegas been craving for you to have them as your prey when you're having your ruts, just for you to be head over heals to that omega whose already been mated with someone else."

"i knew that."

"and that someone else, is the love of his life." hansol added making joshua's nose scrunched and even snorted out of annoyance hearing how hansol emphasizing those words. "so why dont you find someone else? for sure there's still a lot of omegas who hasn't mated yet... unless, you want your own parents to choose one for yoㅡ"

"and speaking of parents, i have to go sol. father told me he wants to see me this morning!"

hansol watched his best friend, the other alpha, the only son of the finest businessman, dashed off from the kitchen to his salas to get his things, leaving hansol alone in the kitchen. joshua bade his see you laters with hansol and just like the blinked of an eye, joshua vanished through hansol's sight making the younger shrugged his shoulders as he continued heating the leftover, joshua's mother cooked for him yesterday, as per the brunet guy said.

joshua was panting and was catching his breathe as soon as he got into the floor of their firm to where his office was located. he didnt even had to greet everyone whose greeting him on the way and since the elevator was at the highest floor of this building, he was left no choice but to used the stairs just to get to his designated floor as quickly as he can for he was scared that his father might be there inside his office already, and for he knew that his father hates tardy people plus time was that gold and important to him for even joshua needed to adjust.

when joshua entered his office, with almost trembling hands, sweats almost all over his face and was panting heavily, he was being greeted by his father sitting on his swivel chair behind the glass table like as if it was his very own throne while talking to someone else over the line but when he saw his son, he automatically ended up the call as he sat even more properly... showing enough that he can be more than who he is right now.

"im sorry, im late. there was a moderate traffic on the way." the brunet guy bowed lightly onto his father to give respect.

his father chuckled. "its alright, son. you did not had me waited for long."

joshua heave in relief. "so.. why do you want to see me?.."

mister hong smiled slyly to his son as he leaned his both arms on the glass table, "the king and i agreed to have a dinner together the day after tomorrow."

the alpha furrowed his brows. "and what does it have to do with me?"

his father's side of his lips rose up. "i want you to ready yourself, show him how dominant you are, and show him you can be trusted."

"him? the king?"

"not just the king.. but to his son, the prince of korea. your highness, lee seokmin."
