"you're going home early?"

joshua nodded at sungjae. "yes, the prince wanted me home before six."

and instead of paying attention as to how he saw sungjae kind of laughed upon his reason why he was already tidying up his things back to his bag this early though they've said that they'll be out for today by six in the evening since they dont have any schedules tomorrow as it was the last day before the new year. joshua just continued placing back the things he used for todays board meetings almost hour by hour and he was about to reach for his laptops charger that was currently placed at the left side of the table when he got halted when sungjae sat on the glass table, making joshua arched him a brow since the older was smiling at him in a teasing manner.

"fucking what sungjae?"

the older laughed. "admit it already josh, you've fallen in love with the prince."

but instead of answering, joshua rolled his eyes and says, "whatever you thought." before he pushed sungjae on the side so he could picked up his charger already and go home as soon as possible.

sungjae was teasing him while they are making their way on the hallway as the older insisted to walk joshua to the parking lot, and once joshua was about to load his car, sungjae called him again to greet him a "happy birthday," which joshua, as usual, he just said his thank yous and he let out a small smile before he finally loaded his car, leaving sungjae and his firm to get back to their house and see the prince already whose he thought was waiting for him. while on the way, joshua couldn't help but to stare at his phone screen and was having a second thought whether to inform the prince that he was already on the way home or not..

and though he doesn't know the reason why the prince wanted him home early than what he said over the line earlier, he still did and he still choose to follow what seokmin wants because that's what he wanted to do anyways.. to spend the remaining day with seokmin, now that today was his birthday, and being with the prince after the tiring day was all he could wish for. even if the prince wasn't aware that today is his birthday, he doesn't care as long as he'll be with the prince.. he'll be his fiance, he'll be with his omega. with his prince, with his lee seokmin.

it took him over almost thirty minutes arriving at their house, and though he parked his car meters away from their house, joshua's brows furrowed after seeing that the house was close.. i mean, the glass windows that usually all opened even during the night was closed, there was no sign that someone's inside the house even the lights are off in both on the outside and in the inside since there was no reflection coming from the inside. and seeing the house like that made him anxious though there are guards scattered around their house. he dashed himself to get through the main door and what made him even more confuse was the door was opened.. it wasn't locked. and there was no way the prince wont lock it if ever he wasn't here.
