"im happy that you two seemed to be getting along well."

if only the two of them could look at each other, rolled their eyes both, scrunched their nose in disgust and curse each other's name in front of the king and the princess after hearing those words, probably they could've done all of those already. but this time, at this dinner with the king and with seokmin's sister, princess sungkyung, they have to control themselves and act like as if what the king has said was really true, and real. that they are both getting along well despite of the sudden engagement happened. 

the two could only look at each other's eyes side by side since none of them knew how to respond to the kings words plus they both showed enough how sweet they are, how caring and clingy joshua was and even how they looked at each other like as if they are in love. so why responding when the king saw enough so-called improvements about their relationship, right? its all enough because as of the moment, none of them wanted to act as they are both just wanted this dinner to end already. 

after hearing nothing as a response, princess sungkyung said something making the king divert his attentions to her finally taking off his gazes to the two people in front of him, which happened to be joshua and seokmin. the princess opened up again about the upcoming celebration inside the palace where almost everyone was welcome, including the presidents, vice, senators, their sons and daughters, his closest friends and even the princess and the prince's friends too and their alphas can join. of course, joshua needed to be there too as the prince's alpha. 

the kings upcoming birthday celebration was also one of the agenda why the king invited them to have a dinner together, since joshua was now so-called part of the royal family as he was being engage and soon to be married with the prince, the king informed him about the annual celebration for his special day. because it wasn't just a typical formal party, since it is like how we've seen in disney movies. it is more like a festival and since it is one of the special occasions where the palace was open for everyone, not just with some politicians who appointed themselves with the king or any member of the royal family. 

"also i want to inform you both that my highness, princess sungkyung and i found a perfect wedding organizer for your upcoming wedding." joshua coughed upon hearing the kings attention was on them again making seokmin, for the show, had rubbed joshua's back to calm him down. "are you okay, joshua?" 

joshua nodded immediately. "y-yes your majesty, im fine... but may i know if my parents knew about this? i mean, about the wedding organizer."

your majesty, the king nodded and smiled. "yes, and they are excited about that matter." 

"do we really have to start preparing for the wedding already? its too early, father. we just got engage like three days ago." the prince tried not to sound like he doesn't want that thing to happen yet, which gladly, it was succesful. 

"the sooner the better, son. plus you both are fine with that, right? you seemed happy and in love already with each other." the king retorted making the two of them shut their mouths instead. 

because the moment either one of them opened their mouths and said something suspicious about their real relationship, they both knew they are doomed. plus both of them knew they cant really do anything about it not because it is under the order of the king, but because no matter how they tried to take it down, the king and joshua's parents for sure would do anything to make them marry each other. 

the dinner went smooth and ended almost nine in the evening already, enough for the king to permit the two to go back to their house already as it was getting late at night now. the prince bade his goodbyes to his noona and to his father, same goes as joshua and the king reminded joshua over and over about protecting the prince. after the bade'ing of goodbyes, joshua purposely held the prince on his waist and though he did that earlier too for the entrance, he saw how the prince flinched for the second time like as if he wasn't really used of getting touch by those parts of his body.. like as if the prince's skin and body was really that precious and haven't been touched to. 

even the way he held the prince's arms last night.. his skin, it was too delicate, too soft and too fragile to even get a hold onto. he doesn't know if its because the prince was really borned with a royal blood or something, or it is just the king and the queen before really took good care of seokmin's skin that when you held him, you would surely handle him with care because you could feel like it was the most fragile thing you ever touched. 

the holding his waist only lasted when he opened the car doors for the prince then he let him enter first before him. just like earlier, they sat side to side from each other, making sure they wont have any skin contact like what the prince said on the rules he made. none of them was talking the whole ride back to the house they are staying up until they finally arrived as they bade their goodbyes to the prince's bodyguard. once he left, joshua made sure that the prince would enter the house first but he was the one who opened the door for the both of them.

"nice acting for tonight, mister. you really deserve an oscar." seokmin mocked then laughed afterwards. 

"you too, your highness. but next time, smile even more and dont flinch when im touching you." joshua clarified. 

the prince nodded. "sorry..." then he pursed his lips. "the king, my noona mostly my eunuch and my bodyguards made sure that no one can touch me, so im not used with touching and skinships."

ah, thats why. thats why your skin was too delicate to even touch. and thats why you include it on the rules you wrote. joshua thought. 

"im going to sleep already, mister. good night."

joshua nodded and smiled at him. "good night, your highness."

both of them exchange small smiles with each other before the prince made his way upstairs leaving joshua alone at the salas. he heave a sighed as the silent of the night lingered through the spaces of the whole house mostly the living room. he removed the coat he was wearing and while he was removing it, his gaze when to the wall where he pinned the prince last night. he doesn't exactly know why he done it and why did he have to do that to the prince.. oh well, its normal to him to be that aggressive since he was an alpha but he doesn't why of all people, why did he done it to the prince? 

and now that he knew the reasons why the prince was too fragile to even touched, it made him guilty that he done those things to him last night plus he remembered how much force he gave mostly to the back of the prince he pushed to the wall. and though he already said his apologies earlier, he felt like it wasn't enough.. 

because if only he knew, he could've been more careful and gentle towards to the prince.
