though it is planned and it is expected, the prince admits that he couldn't help but to flushed a unconsciously sweet smile upon responding to what joshua had asked him and though he knew everything was just a form of acting and for the show, just like his sweet smile, his heart unconsciously thumped rapidly like as if he was being nervous over something which he didnt know especially when joshua had to removed the ring from the box then he held his left hand slowly and witnessed how the alpha slided the ring on his left ring finger...

joshua just slided the ring that smooth, that swift on the prince ring finger like as if it was literally made for the prince's, from the very start. 

after joshua had slided the ring on his ring finger, the prince suddenly stood froze, mouth left ajar, eyes widened, hearts rapidly beating and he couldn't help but to unconsciously and absentmindedly blushed upon seeing how joshua extended his left hand until he felt how that electric feeling had lingered when joshua's pair of soft lips touched his skin. 

yes.. yes, joshua had kissed the ring that was on the prince's ring finger like as if he was sealing their engagement, their words and everything had happened right at this moment with the kiss. everyone was cooing and was cheering even the king, the princess and joshua's parents after witnessing the very so-called romantic moves from joshua that even the prince left dumbfounded and plussed. 

they made an eye contact and joshua flushed that sweet yet very rare smile of him before putting back the hand of the prince down carefully afraid he might scratch the prince's porcelain skin. their gazes never parted and the prince just swallowed hard after realizing that the alpha was leaning closer towards to his direction, and without any proper and concrete context, seokmin already knew what joshua was planning to do.. so he dodge! no, he did not dodge because he still stood froze there on his spot to even move even just a little to halt the alpha from what he was planning to do. 

and the only thing he could do at this moment was to swallowed hard enough and just waited for joshua's lips to touch his.. closer, closer.. and closer... 

"congratulations to the newly-engage couple, prince seokmin and mister hong!" 

thats... thats the only moment the prince finally got back from reality as he pulled himself away from joshua and he looked away not wanting to see the alpha for some seconds.. while joshua scratched his nape as he poke his tongue on the side of his cheeks. and they just got back from acting when the king spoke, prolly was starting and opening the engagement toast for the both of them. the prince tried getting back from his senses by breathing in an out and staring at the guests where he found nothing but his father's friends, the vice president and even some senators of south korea. 

and his brows furrowed after seeing a familiar figure that was sitting not too far from the center, was talking to one of the representatives of the blue house party but it did looked at his directions anyways and the moment their eyes met, the prince could only felt nothing but a pang inside his chest seeing how soonyoung smiled at him.. like a proud older brother who witnessed him being engaged to someone they thought he loves.
