"so you really want to marry me then?"

joshua almost jumped out in the pool due to startled upon hearing the prince's sudden voice from behind him, making the younger laughed loud prolly he witnessed how joshua reacted. the alpha turned his head to where seokmin was as he gave him the usual death glares he was giving for almost making him had a heart attack and die. seokmin could only laughed like as if what he was the most funniest thing he ever watched on the internet which made joshua's death glare turned into rolling his eyes. 

after some seconds of silence, he saw how the prince copied the way he was sitting at the frame of the pool, both feets soaked and sank under the water. it was already late at night.. but here they come, they're still wide awake as per the reason why joshua are still up was because his mother called him about the preparation of the wedding, she was asking the progression which he couldn't answer much because neither the two of them, your highness, wasn't really moving to have it finished. 

joshua clicked his tongue. "i thought you're already sleeping.. you have classes tomorrow right?" the shot the prince a glance first before he drank the canned beer he was drinking since earlier to get himself back to sleep. 

but how could he now that the prince was still awake, too? 

ever since then when they started living together, the king told joshua not to sleep unless the prince was sleeping already. so for the past one week and a half inside this house, he was always sneakily look for the prince inside his room to check if the younger was already sleeping. it wasn't that hard for him since he was really needed to stay up late to do his unfinished work during that day. 

the prince nodded as he played his both foot on the water. "yes, but i cant sleep. ahh dont change the topic. i was asking you." then he jerked his head to the person not too far from him, joshua. 

"nah ah, why would i even want to marry a person like you?" joshua poked his tongue on the side of his cheeks afterwards. 

seokmin let our a weary chuckled. "for real? yet you're the one who set the date for us to see the venues they're offering, didnt you?" after that, he arched joshua a brow. 

"it was all an act, your highness. i dont want to disappoint my father, also the king." when he saw the prince scoffed and made a face because of his reasons, his brows furrowed. "why? arent you going to do the same?"

"do you think i would be engage to you, and living with you in this house if i wont do the same?" you could hear how sarcastic and how nonchalant the prince responded. "but that doesn't mean i want to marry you. and that thing wont change."

both of them made an eye contact but joshua saw how the prince looked away first as he held his head low and he played his foot on the water. and though the prince's head was in that position, joshua could see how perfect the prince's side profile are. those art-like nose bridge, his prominent cheekbones, even his plump lips added on how perfect he looked like. and joshua didnt know, it was one of the best view he ever saw in his entire life.
