and thats the reason why joshua and the prince had to pull their bodies away from each other and stopped from what they are doing, which was, kissing. once their lips parted, they both jerked their heads behind them to where they found everyone was gathering around their majesty, the king who they said was crying which is true thats why the moment seokmin saw what was happening, it made his heart beats faster in nervousness as wasted no time and he dashed himself towards to where his father was not minding joshua... who followed him right after the prince had walked away.

the prince was already panicking once he reached where his father was and though jeonghan was doing his best to comfort the king, but it seemed wasnt working... not until seokmin came and he was the one who asked what happened, or why was the king was suddenly crying for random situations like this. and since this is the only time they saw the king was crying after the burial of the late princess which was happened over a month already.

"f-father, can you tell me what happened? why are you crying?" though no one.. as in no one lets the prince kneel down on his knees in his entire life, but maybe this moment is different as seokmin kneel down on his knees on the ground trying to calm his father down while holding the kings both hands clasping together with his. "is there something wrong? are you not feeling well? tell me father, please."

everyone could hear how the prince voice has drastically changed from the cheerful one to how shaky it was earlier and even how he sounded like he was going to cry already... or which, he almost do as all of them could see seokmin's eyes gets teary and that desperate look in his eyes. but instead of hearing a response from his father, seokmin's eyes widened and he swallowed hard after feeling how his fathers left hand had went to the prince's left cheek, cupping it as he caressed it. and though seokmin's eyes was wide, it is enough for him to furrowed his brows in confusion as to what was happening to his father.

seokmin blinked thrice. "f-father..."

the king smiled sweetly, tears cascade through his cheek. "im so happy.. and im so proud of you, my highness." seokmin was about to argue or complain about what his father said, but the king spoke even before seokmin could open his mouth. "you finally found the one, my son. and im happy ive witnessed it using my own eyes."

the prince's brows furrowed even more. "w-what are you saying? i-i found the one? who?"

his father nodded. "joshua.. he's the one for you, my highness. marry him."

that moment just ended when they already knew why the king had cried and though seokmin wanted to be sulky as why his father needed to cry like that but he choose to shut his mouth and just let it flow, because he understands and he knew.. he knew that his father, the king was just happy seeing him being with someone who they thought are in love with each other plus the king never saw princess sungkyung with someone else before. and when the princess finally decides to settle down as she supposed to be the next one who would reign the nation, but something worst happened which ended up her burial.
