"where's joshua? you should be with him for you were staying in one roof together."

prince seokmin could only shrugged his shoulders. not knowing what exactly to answer. "he has a work to attend today and he told me he was needed there the whole day."

"but didnt he took a leave? it was their firm all along." princess sungkyung asked even more, wanting to get more informations why joshua wasn't with the prince when he arrived here at the palace.

once again, the prince just shrugged his shoulders. "im not sure, he didnt inform me about that plus noona why are you looking for him when your little prince is here in front of you!" seokmin sulkied as he pouted and even move his body like a little kid himself with matching puppy eyes which made him looked even more little.. and cuter! "is that joshua was new favorite? tell me noona.. is he your new favorite?!" then he made a face like as if he was crying. 

when the princess watched how seokmin did those childish actions, she couldn't hide her sweet wide smile as her heart kept on melting and shrinking at the same time making her eyes filled with water.. because of happiness, and maybe because of how cute seokmin was in front of him. this is one of the reasons.. one of the reasons why she told joshua before to take good care of seokmin and how the younger needs a protection at all costs. because she was afraid that the innocence of the prince and the way he was so soft and fragile like these would get faded.. would be gone, without her watch. 

though she knows, she was aware that everyday the prince was growing and getting more matured at his age.. but she couldn't deny that she doesn't know what to do anymore once the seokmin she knew, and the seokmin whose in front of him would change. she wanted seokmin, her younger sibling, her highness, to stay the same of what he is now. 

princess sungkyung cupped his cheeks. "of course not, you will always be my favorite little prince!" 

the two siblings just talked while they are walking down the hallways of almost the whole palace mostly at the huge front yard they have as per the princess was tasked to check if everyone was working or doing their jobs. all personnel of the palace was busy decorating the said place and finished the unfinished work they'd left from yesterday while the princess was telling them what to do next, what should the designs on the side of the area even how would it looked like for the party happening later... yes! yes today's one of the biggest and one of the most special day not just in the palace, but also for the whole country of korea. 

because today, is the day king lee joohyeon has born. the father of the crowned princess and prince, the current and longest reigning king of the country. today, is his birthday. which means the palace was open for everyone, everyone was invited and this day was also declared as special non-working holiday ever since the king started to reign the nation. every people, year by year, they are anticipating for this kind of grand event as they can see the whole royal family partying, including the presidents, vice and other politicians. koreans call it like an annual festival.

and thats why the princess was looking for joshua, because he should be here eight hours before the event for they need to get ready, practice their cotillion routines and even of course for the dress, hair and makeup before the event... plus joshua, joshua was somewhat part of the royal family now as everyone, the whole world knows that he was engage and soon to be married with the younger prince.
