"i have here some samples of your invitations, tell me your highness what did you choose by today."

lady yoo, the wedding organizer, the king and the late princess had rented for the upcoming royal wedding of the prince and his fiance, joshua hong ㅡ went in front of the prince then she neatly and carefully placed the serenity colored envelope at the table between them. seokmin only watched how lady yoo placed it as she was the one who opened it for him and as soon as it was opened, he was greeted by many samples of their wedding invitations done by her. and though the prince doesn't want to see it.. but he knows he needs to act like as if he was really serious about getting married with his so-called fiance, plus if he wouldn't move to see it, they wont proceed to the next stage as they would stuck there.

he picked it one by one to scrutinize each and every details of the samples, and his heart just shrink for he doesn't know the reason after seeing their pictures together.. him and joshua. it was the shots during their prenup photoshoots where everything seemed perfect and would seemed to run smoothly as he remembered how his father, the king cried in happiness before in thoughts of seokmin already found the one and how he advice seokmin to marry joshua. it was coming back inside his head while staring at the invitations with their picture, it was when joshua was holding his hand and was kissing his knuckles.. like other princess and prince was doing. and with that picture also, seokmin could see the happiness.. not just in their smiles, but in their eyes.

and thought that it was the only photo attached at their invitations, but he was wrong. since when he reached the middle of the sample, his heart started to race faster at the same time it shrink as he swallowed hard and blinked thrice seeing nothing but a photo of him and joshua, kissing each other. it was perfectly shot during their prenup again, and seokmin could remember how joshua asked permission if he could kiss him, and even how soft joshua's lips was, how they move their lips together.. even how he felt, seokmin felt like everything seemed to fall on their right places. like as if heaven was telling him to marry joshua, for real.

even how the king told him that joshua was the right one for him.

the pictures doesn't end there because there are literally a lot, most of the invitations has their faces together shot during their prenup and since they acted so in love back to that day, their photos seemed so real... it seemed so real like as if they literally are a happy couple and how they are so sure and sincere about marrying each other. it looked so real, it looked genuine, it looked more than perfect.

even how joshua's eyes and his smile flushed nothing but happiness could also be seen in the photos.. and seokmin could admit that they've been together for some months now, but during the prenup, it was the first and only time he witness how happy joshua was. his smiles, the sound of his laughter and even how he held him that day was so genuine. and it's not only about joshua... because that day, seokmin admit he also felt that foreign happiness. happiness he only found with joshua.

"you love him, your highness."

seokmin chuckled as he stared at their photo attached at the invitation. "of course lady yoo.." then he smiled and he caressed the photo using his thumb. "joshua is my fiance and we're about to get married in a month, how could i not love him?"
