"you owe me an explanation, haven't you?"

thats what joshua had utter the moment the three of them, or i mean, him and his both parents, his mother and his father entered their mansion right after attending a so-called venerate dinner they had with the royal family, including with the prince. joshua was so eager to ask his parents about what happened earlier, but he can't open his mouth while they are making their way here as for his parents was busy talking with their business partners.

"what explanation, son?" misis hong, his mother asked as she removed the coat she was wearing.

joshua scoffed in irritation. and as long as he doesn't want to be rude towards to his parents, but if they answered, responded and seemed to act innocent like as if nothing had happened earlier that may ruined his life, big time, not now, but he knows if they were determined then, it will happen, he doesn't have a choice. he just wanted an explanation.. just an explanation, a very valid and reasonable reasons his parents has for them to set him up in that kind of marriage.

he swallowed hard. "you cant play innocent in front of my face. tell me.. tell me why didnt you informed me about setting me up in marriage with the prince? and why? why, of all people why is has to be me?"

"because you are our only son." his father retorted fast.

"i dont care if im your only son. it doesn't make sense! i did not grew up comprehending the both of you just for you to set me up in marriage without even informing me." he exchange his glances to both of his parents as he shook his head. not really getting what his parents wanted to point out.

and why did they have to do those.

"we are just securing your future, son."

"and do you think marrying the prince could make my future secured?" he shook his head once again in frustration, getting no patience over to his parents. "no, no it wasnt. you may be my parents but you cant be the one who would decide my future and you are not the one who would decided which or whom should i marry!"

"joshua hong!"

he can't deny that he flinched.. he fucking flinched, he was taken aback over to his fathers sudden raise of voice. it is some of the rare moments his father would raise his voice calling his name like that, and for once and for all, it is about not following what they like, and what they want to happened. oh well, he knew that he has the right to argue and complain about that matter.. that's why he was taking this chances he got wishing and hoping his parents can take down the marriage.

"i wont marry the prince." joshua uttered firmly and with so much authority for he is an alpha.

his mother shook her head. "but that is an order from your majesty, son. we cant do anything about it... plus you have to choose your omega and be mated already."

that is an order from the king? the order which you comprehend and agreed to even before the king declare that is an order from him, didnt you? joshua thought. because he knew, he knew it wasn't just the king who sets this thing up for him and the prince to marry each other, but it is also with the likes of his parents.
