Shuna, Me, milim and rimuru are in the kitchen helping shuna cook milim was holding rimuru while also helping shuna get ingridients while i help shuna cook

"mmm!! this thing you call "curry" is incredibly delicious!!" milim said while eating spoonfulls of curry. after finishing the curry she said "i'll have seconds!"

"of course."

"isn't that lady milim?"

"uh-oh i feel like today's rice came under cooked"

"i have not tasted such delights since the discovery of "honey"! "

"that was morning"

"so that substance that had so enchanted lady milim was the nectar that had been gathered by bees?" shion said

"i thought it was a healing solution... but i suppose the color was different" said benimaru

"well... honey does have some medicinal qualities, so calling it a "healing solution" isn't that off the mark" i say as i drink my tea

"hmmm..." benimaru looked at milim's honey

"you can't have it! this is all mine!!" milim says snatching the honey

"i wasn't going to take it."

"i prepared this honey to use as a substitute for a sweetener called "sugar... but you can only collect so much and i'm currently the only one who can extract it" i summoned honey and put it on a sake cup and gave them to the kijin "i wasn't going to reveal it until i had a means of wider production. give it a taste."

they tasted it

"wow...!" shion said in delight

"yup, with sugar you'd have a much wider variety of cooking to try out. you could even make a whole category called "sweets." " rimuru said

"very well. i understand" shuna says as she slammed her hands on the table

"on the morrow, i will put my full effort into discovering a source of sugar. what do you say, shuna?"

"i'm in lady shuna! upon my very life, i will help you find this sugar!"

"yes! it is appreciated!" milim says

'since when did you guys get so close?' rimuru said in his thoughts as i giggled in amusement

there was a meeting discussing milim

"so... it's official that demon lord milim will be staying here."

"i'm worried about her walking around un attended... so i want someone at her side at all times." said rimuru

"Might i have a word, boss?" kijin said

"what is it?"

"we're worried about demon lord milim, of course... but i think it pays to watch how the other demon lords react, too."

"what do you mean?"

"there are a lot of such lords out there, but they're not all in alignment. they keep each other in check, maintaining a tense balance of power at all times." i said answering rimuru's question
