[A/N] 'Ello 'ello, I'm late. I flew to Singapore Monday night, 14 hour flight, Tuesday dipped into the void and now it's Wednesday (actually Thursday in Singapore). So I'm well and truly jetlagged and confused.

I let everyone know on Twitter but I know most people won't see that, just as a reminder my username is @OkiNeptune there.

It was about midday when the heat must have struck me hard, because I started talking to curtains in the lunch hall. "Hey..." I frowned.

"Get away." It hissed.

I cocked my head to look at him. "Have you gone mental or something?"

Amir peeked out, tutted and ran a hand through his hair, stepping back behind it. "Are they still here?"

I looked around me, confused. "Who?" I asked, stepping closer to see my friend hiding behind the grey curtains that were pulled to the edge of the massive floor to ceiling window in the cafeteria.

"Who do you think?" He scowled at me. "Your wives!"

I blinked at him, looking around again to see Atlas sitting with his flock and Jacob amongst his little group of admirers that he seemed to barely tolerate, smiling occasionally in that creepy way that people thought looked so handsome.

"Fuck off." I glared at him.

"Are they here!"

"They are..."

"Shit." He swore. "Can't you do something with them. Go have your honeymoon in the nurses office like the rest of the school."

"I'm not- Amir shut up!" I glared at him darkly, I'd have shoved him if I wasn't holding a sandwich in one hand and my phone in the other. I was fucked though because... now when he made these jokes I wasn't sure what to say, my heart spiked in nervousness and my face went red. "You still think I'm dating them?"

"You should have seen the look Jacob gave me, if I hadn't of run that guy would have for sure gotten back at me. You're a dirty little liar. You are dating him!"

"I am not!" I promised, but my face burned. I liked to think it wasn't much visible though, considering I was already burning up.

"Prove it!"

"How??"

"Go up to them... Ask them if you're just friends or something."

"I'm not going to do that!"

He scoffed. "When did you become such a liar Akara?" He said with dramatic mournfulness. "You were raised better than this... What will the kids at the skatepark think when I tell them what a liar you've become."

"Fuck. Off." I elbowed him, then kicked his leg and he winced, hissed and stepped further back against the pillar. "Since when did you grow guts huh?" I kicked him again and he tried to kick back, glancing around nervously.

"Okay, okay. Just move away, people will start to look..." He genuinely looked anxious.

"People already are," I shrugged, glancing around and seeing at least one girl blatantly watching me from her table. "I'm talking to a fucking curtain."

"Get them out so I can leave..." He pleaded.

"They won't do anything!" I insisted. "I wouldn't have told you they saw it if I knew you'd freak out like this."
