[A/N] Well would you look at that nice number...

"You will like her, you don't need to be nervous." Gift told me as we were getting ready in the morning. Well, he was, I was in bed still, hugging the now available free space while he was fixing his uniform to perfection, trying to persuade me to get out of bed.

I was already dressed because he'd already forced me to get up and dressed once before and in order to pacify him before he got into the shower I'd gotten ready.

"She seems nice, it's just-"

Gift clicked his tongue in annoyance when he saw me, unmoving, nesting in the bed, as he came back into the room from where he was standing in front of the bathroom sink vanity.

"Just?" He looked me up and down.

"Just really bad timing..." I groaned, covering my head with the cover.

He clicked his tongue again, walking up.

I tried to back up knowing what he was about to do but when he grabbed my arm it was too late and I was getting pulled out of the bed. "Gift!" I yelled.

"Get out of bed Akara, you lazy... it's ridiculous!"

I groaned, grabbing onto his arm, resisting as much as I could. There was a cold breeze from the night in the room that he'd just let in and the covers were warm. "Wait wait-" I tried to pull back and he seemed to slip on the unfixed carpet on the floor, the carpet moving as he fell forwards. I unintentionally yanked him further and he went smack into the mattress of the bed.

"Sorry!" I yelled in surprise, letting go of his arm in a hurry. It wasn't your average gentle mattress, I mean it had a spring but it wasn't totally soft and Gift really got flung into it.

Gift groaned, pulling himself off.

"Shit." I hissed, seeing the blood coming from his nose.

"Idiot!" He complained, clutching at his nose. "You stupid-"

"Sorry sorry," I got up and ran to the bathroom to get a towel. "Is it broken?" I asked him, panicking and grabbing the wet one he'd just used.

"No..." He grumbled, sniffing. "Not that bad..." He wiped his nose then cringed. "Pet, what's wrong with you, why don't you get me a clean one!"

"I was just..." Trying to stop you from bleeding all over my shit.

I hurriedly grabbed it back and went to get him a clean one, and out of guilt ended up going to school even earlier than I normally would with Gift who had no appetite for breakfast and nursed his nose the journey there, not even bringing my skateboard and just walking with him.

It wasn't swollen, didn't look wonky or anything, and he claimed it didn't hurt but I wasn't sure if you could break your nose without knowing it was broken.

I didn't argue about Julie anymore, it was one date and he promised if I didn't like her he'd put the conversation to rest, he seemed to be real confident I would fall head over heels for her.

It wasn't the end of the world anyway, I thought to myself as I split off from Gift to kick the football left on the football field around before it was time for class.

There was a big shopping mall about half an hour from my place, we would be meeting in a café there, hang out and I'd probably take her shopping and then that would be it.

Even if it was technically called a date, it wasn't like I'd kiss her or anything, so no one would be pissed off if they found out.

After about ten minutes of just dribbling the ball back and forth and kicking it into either goal with a grand swing that fifty percent of the time missed the ball, I got the shock of my life when a teacher appeared out of nowhere.
