[A/N] Hey guys, enjoying your Tuesday today? Feels like a great Tuesday to be posting this chapter on...
[Akara's POV]
"What is this for?" He looked at me, frustrated but not exactly judgemental. Actually when it came down to it Callen seemed surprisingly unbothered by strange things.
"I just want to see if it's the same." I leaned back against the wall.
It had a kind of gritty texture and was cold, not to mention the fact that while it was the most private place I could find I happened to know that the odd structure would be housing the teachers for the night and just about five metres away round the corner was the first tent to the girls camping area.
"The same as with..." He moved in front of me again.
I shrugged.
"Do they push you around a lot?"
I nodded heavily. "Yes, a lot."
He frowned. "What?"
"What?"
"So..." He blinked. "Okay..." He peered closely at me. "And you like that?"
My face went very red, I mean hard not to feel embarrassed when another guy says it outright like that, especially with those massive peering eyes.
"Are you going to do it or what?" I snapped at him.
He hummed and pulled back. "I'm just doing a welfare check. Everyone likes different things... uhh... but, it's not good if they're actually beating you up." He laughed.
My face was getting progressively more red.
"Okay, okay..." He wrung his hands nervously, then looked me up and down a moment. "Are you sure you shouldn't wear a helmet?"
"No!" I growled at him. "Just do it."
But my replying meant that when he did actually push me into the wall I got a genuine shock and my soul nearly leapt backwards through the wall as my shoulders hit, suddenly terrified of my head smacking against the wall, I hunched forwards, my legs slower to keep up.
A second later Callen's face was in front of mine.
"Hand on the wall." I told him hurriedly.
"Ahh..." He remembered and smacked his hand next to my head on the wall.
It was so fucking stupid the whole thing I briefly forgot what we were doing it for.
Looking at Callen, who was just about shorter than me, and seeing the awkward pose he had over me, with his gangly thin arms stretched out of his T-shirt, and his legs spread a little too wide in the uncomfortable pose. From up close he did kind of look like a girl.
Callen didn't work, but he didn't have even a slightly similar frame, maybe I needed to find someone like him, some one with the same slightly dark skin and body shape and muscles, with the slight darkness around his eyes, dark eyebrows and even lips and permanently teasing gleam to his eyes. With the same way of moving too, and the same hips and arms and broad shoulders and hair...
He swallowed. "Ow."
My brows furrowed. "What-"
"What are you doing?" Came the snapping voice from the side.
Callen jumped so dramatically he pretty much jumped for the both of us, stumbling backwards and holding his hands up like it was the police, tasers and batons in each hand.
