Jacob only raised an eyebrow and looked at Atlas.
He smiled.
"I wasn't going to punish him." Jacob replied with a certain dismissiveness.
You weren't? I looked up at him mistrustfully, Atlas's fingers still threaded through my hair, painfully forcing me to look at them from my position sliding down the wall.
Atlas laughed. "Look, even Akara doesn't believe you."
Jacob glanced at me, a cool gaze observing me as he stepped closer, his white, crisp, ironed shirt an inch away from my face. The scent of cologne now reminded me of laying there in that bed of flowers, the way his lips felt, tasted. I frowned and looked away.
He crouched down.
"Someone has been teasing me all day. Clearly they must be looking to be rewarded."
I looked back fast, my face burned a bright red. "What are you-"
Atlas laughed in shock.
"I wasn't-"
"And you weren't going to share?" Atlas taunted Jacob.
"When did you ever share."
He shrugged carelessly. "I guess I didn't, but things changed."
Jacob stood back up, observed us both with a sharp contemplative look, then seemed to settle on some sort of decision as he cocked his head. "I suppose they have."
Atlas let go of my hair as Jacob reached out and grabbed my left bicep and yanked me up onto my feet and I struggled not to stumble and fall over as I was pulled closer to him. "Haven't they?" He asked the question in such a dangerous way that I felt compelled to answer fast.
"I suppose... so..."
"You don't want to tearfully pull away and choose which of us you like better?" Atlas leaned in with a grin.
What did I say to that? That I had no idea who was better? That I didn't care, that I just wanted to feel both of them surround me, wanted to look up and see one, feel the other. I knew I was fucked in the head but it didn't stop my cock from leading the way.
"You're both equally shit." I mumbled.
Jacob raised an eyebrow. "Are you still in denial?"
It was hard to describe the way I felt when he spoke like that, in a calm but cold way that made me feel nervous. "I'm not..." I swallowed nervously.
Atlas smiled. "I wanna know when he's in trouble. I can hold him down, can't I?" He leaned in, his cologne smelled spicy, I inhaled automatically, wanting to lean into that wall of muscle at an angle to me.
Dizzy, my back still aching and stinging from the wall, I pictured it and closed my eyes. "Yes..."
Atlas slid an arm around my middle and pulled me back against him, Jacob stepping up closer. It happened so fluidly it felt like they must have practiced, and once again I felt the nostalgia of that night, the memory slipping like lust into my bloodstream. But being pulled flush between the two was the fastest way to make my heart rate spike.
"You've been making fun of us..." Atlas mumbled from over my shoulder.
I shivered and shook my head.
"I think you have..." Jacob agreed.
The way they got closer felt like being felted between two lions, each one licking their sharp teeth, baring them and smiling.
"I promise... I haven't..." I whispered.
