[A/N]  No no, it's not Thursday, you guys are mistaken. Author always updates on time. Right now it's Tuesday, when you get half way through the chapter it's Wednesday, and when you finish it's Thursday.

It's very logical when you think about it  (∩⌣ ‿⌣) ....

I peered more closely at Jacob as we started moving and sure enough I saw his expression tighten slightly, he glanced at me from the side and then stubbornly looked forwards and seemingly ignored me completely, the frosty look on his face I now realised was something manufactured.

The coach ride was mostly very smooth, except as we turned direction and had to jolt forwards a couple times and the enter coach jerked every time. Everyone else seemed to be ignoring it fairly well, the sounds of people opening fizzy drinks and unwrapping sweets and yoghurts and whatever else they found that was so much better that whatever they'd brought from home.

I should have laughed when I saw his lips thin out, pressed against each other, the last glance in my direction a look that, to any other person, would have looked a lot like disinterest from someone highly unimpressed.

Instead I just watched him out of the corner of my eye, the coach lurched forwards again and he breathed out, leaning back, perfect posture harmed by pillows that forced your neck forward, or for shorter guys, just forced the head forward.

I should have been messing with him, this was the perfect opportunity, but every time I looked at him that cold impassive face looked just a little bit more grey and I didn't understand why but I couldn't bring myself to say or do anything.

Annoyed with myself I tried to ignore him, got out my phone and plugged in my earphones. I'd tried to save some new music last minute but it had taken too long because I'd inadvertently been saving the video for it as well.

I played the music videos for one of my favourite bands, their music videos were always weird, some of them were good, some of them made me cringe.

This one started with someone falling off a building in a suit and tie and landing on the sidewalk naked and then getting up and joining legions of zombies who are all mostly naked and deformed and they all try to topple this big tower and eventually they all get covered in this blue ink.

Online I'd found an article that said that the blue ink was actually supposed to be blood but that with the near nudity and the cast makeup to look mangled and all that they thought actual blood or even red liquid would have been too much.

It took me a moment to realise there were a second pair of eyes looking at my phone, a look of marginal distaste on his face. It might have helped that at the end they start climbing on top of each other, forming their own kind of building looking thing made of blue flesh.

I looked up at him, he was getting more peaky, his expression a little more tight, his hands firmly set on his knees, he seemed to be unwilling to move, only looking at my phone because the visuals were probably so bizarre it was hard to look away, and it was probably making him more sick.

I didn't care about that, of course, in fact that was a good thing because it was hilarious, maybe not in a ha ha way but in some kind of way.

I frowned at my phone, selecting another video. As the video ended he started staring out of the window again, breathing a little more raggedly.

Great. Good. He deserves it, acting like I'm an idiot all the time.

I pursed my lips and leaned in a little closer to my phone because my eyes seemed to keep wanting to go back to check the cool grey-blue sharp eyes, the perfect side profile and lips pressed together, Adam's apple bobbing as he pretended nothing was bothering him.
