"I have our final project surprise, and I sure hope you love it today, because you won't be sleeping so well for a month," Mrs. Garquel said, passing out almost what looked like massive packets of work, but once she plopped one onto my desk, it wasn't as big as it looked on the other students' desks.

Her long orange braid swayed behind her back, as she moved around and across the classroom to continue to pass out the project packet. I heard gasps, and grunts or cheers of excitement, then I finally looked down to see what the long month-term project was.

My eyes widened as I saw the title, and I completely forgot we had to go through this whole project thing. We had to take care of an automated child for a month, and it would test how well we could care for a child at all.

I skimmed down the sheet, but not even getting to the beginning of the summary for the project when my eyes landed on my partner's name written in the inky pen.

Jesse Oplum was going to be the father of my child, and I really didn't want to mess with him, because he wasn't only Harry's friend, but he was the biggest player. He didn't care about his grades, and he just used girls like trying on a shirt then putting it back, because for satisfaction he thought it looked good on him.

Oplum may be gorgeous, but he does not have the personality.

"Hey, who did you get?" I heard a small voice, and I directed my attention to see Lily, curious of my response.

"I don't want to say," I answered, and her face scrunched up as if in frustration, because she wanted to know.

"It's fine," she gave in, but I knew Lily was a very nosey child, as she would sit with her usual short cut brunette hair style, listening on the gossip groups that would be in the classroom, and I know that, because she seemed to be in my every class.

"Now, everyone, get to your partners, quickly so I could introduce you better to the project," Mrs. Garquel's voice powered up in the classroom, and I kept myself seated, pretending I didn't hear her. Chairs and desks punished the floors with squeaks, as my classmates began to search for their other halves.

I looked down at my hands under the desk, starting to pick at the lime green nail polish on my nails, then I smiled, remembering Saturday with Harry. We spoke all night last night yesterday, and it felt like Sunday went by so quickly, but slowly, because of Harry. He filled my mind all the time, and I didn't know where to start with him, because it was like he had so many other surprises to come. I just felt it.

"Hello, Gomez," I heard the deep, but only an American voice that rung my ears, and no calling me 'Princess' to make me spark up a bit. I had no energy to talk to the fool that I couldn't believe it almost capable to make it through high school without a problem.

I looked up reluctantly toward the other green eyes that I didn't want to see as they were mixed with hazel along with the dark vibe he carried.

Jesse sat himself down in the desk where Lily was just sitting, and made himself comfortable, as I moved my attention back to my nails, feeling uncomfortable as he burned a stare into my space, while it felt like he was so close to me.

"So let's begin, shall we?" the health teacher spoke up again, and Jesse turned his head to the teacher.

"Uh, does the script involve sexual response?" Jesse spoke out with a smirk forming after, and the class chuckled at his statement, but seriously we're seniors. They shouldn't be snickering at something so stupid.

I didn't know whether I should've been surprised or not, but it looked like Jesse actually read his blonde head off into the text and he also made a comment that would come from him no matter what.

"Actually, you may use sexual response in the dialogue, yes, Mr. Oplum," Mrs. Garquel answered, as the light from the window reflected off of her glasses, making it hard to see her eyes.

"Awesome," Jesse mumbled, and I rolled my eyes, starting to tap my pencil to the desk, really getting annoyed at just Jesse's presence.

"Now I will continue," the teacher went on about the summary, and what the purpose of taking care of the generic child around. She told us about how much it helped, and what strategies we could use to take care of the child. I didn't know if I was ready to handle a baby crying in the middle of the night, waking me up, because I know Jesse is definitely not bringing it over his house.

Garquel basically kept going on and on about the baby project as people started to doze off, especially Jesse, but around the end of class, she finally told us that we would be receiving our babies during lunch. I was called to watch out for my call and when I receive the baby, but I knew deep inside I wasn't ready to have a child with...Jesse.

Classmates started to pack up their things, and leaving the class once Mrs. Garquel announced our dismissal.

Jesse awoke from his sleep, and started to look around the room, adjusting to his setting again, then he looked up to see me, as I stood up. He stretched out his arms, as I picked up my things, and was ready to leave the class, but Jesse spoke up.

"Hey, we should meet up or something," he said, as his green hazel-looking eyes seem to brighten at his environment, and then he lifted himself up to his feet.

"Like where?" I was already annoyed with the fact that I was working with him, but I needed to be on my grades for senior year.

"At Sham Ginger Park?" he questioned, and I thought about the environment of the place. It was really beautiful over there, and it was peaceful to have kids over there, so maybe that would be a great spot to get settled into the project.

"Oh, alright," I answered, not really thinking that Jesse would recommend a place that made sense for a baby to be, but I guess it was just the sleep still trying to wear off from his body.

"I''ll see you there after school, maybe or tomorrow?" I asked, really interested into knowing what else Jesse held in the heart of his besides sex.

"I don't know, maybe you should come tomorrow...I don't have football practice then, so we can probably make a real baby at my house before we hit the park," Jesse smirked, his dirty comments coming back.

"Alright, so after school today? Okay," I agreed on it on my own, and I walked out of the class without any response from him, because I knew he was a little bit serious about the meeting.
