Chapter 306

Matt's POV: After getting some breakfast for me and Gabby, I took a breath as I came into our room where I saw Gabby sitting in bed exactly how I left her...worried and rubbing her stomach. I haven't seen her this worried in a while and I knew that it wasn't healthy for her or our girls. God, I really hope that Dr. Asher can give us some answers that will help Gabby. She needs something that will make her feel better and just let her know that everything will be okay. And honestly, I wish that I could give it to her...but I know that I can't do that as easy as I want to.

But she's opening up to me and that's all that I could ask for I guess. Walking in, I went to walk over to Gabby's side of the bed and just smiled at her. "Hey." Gabby smiled when she saw me and just went to sit up more. "Hey, you didn't take long." I shook my head when Gabby told me that. "No, your brother was already making breakfast for us. And he says that he can stay as long as we need him to." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when It old him that. "I'm so grateful that he's here right now." I nodded and agreed with Gabby when she told me that. "Me too."

Gabby smiled when I told her that and just put her hand out to tell me that she wants me to sit with her....and I went to do just that. But first, I gave her plate to her and just smiled as she put it on her baby bump. "Hey, last time I checked...our daughters are not a table." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I told her that. "Well, for me they are." I nodded and agreed with her when she told me that. Getting on the bed next to her, I went to wrap my arm around her and just smiled as I went to take a bite of my pancakes. "So, how are you feeling today?" Gabby smiled.

"You can stop asking that okay Matt? I promise that I will tell you if I need to talk." I nodded and agreed with Gabby when she told me that, knowing that was the case. She has gotten much better with communicating with me and I appreciate that very much. However, I still liked to remind her of that from time to time. It was my way of keeping the lines of communication between us open. After all, it's what keeps our relationship healthy. "So, what do you think the doctor might tell us today?" I sighed when Gabby asked me that, knowing she was worried.

"That everything is okay and that this is normal." Gabby agreed with me when I said that. "I wanted to just tell you that I've been reading." I sighed when she said that. "Babe, don't self diagnose. That's never healthy." Gabby agreed with me when I said that. "I guess what I am just looking at is what people had to do after they felt this way...some women said that they were put on bedrest." I nodded and agreed with Gabby when she told me that, going to kiss her forehead softly. "And what do you think about that?" Putting my hand on hers, I smiled at her.

Gabby shrugged when I asked her that. "Not like it would be much different. It would just be harder to take care of the boys." I shook my head when Gabby said that. "Gabby, it's okay. We can ask your mom to move in. Heck, we can ask your brother to move in. Gabby, I promise that we can figure this out. I'm your husband and we're going to do whatever we have to do to make sure that you and our girls are healthy. Gabby, I already love our daughters with my whole heart." Gabby looked up at me when I told her that and just smiled at me. "I know."

I smiled and just agreed with her as I went to take another bite of my pancakes. "Then you have to know that I am going to do whatever I can to make sure that you're healthy babe." Gabby just smiled and agreed with me when I told her that. "I know." I smiled as I went to take another bite before watching as Gabby took another bite as well. She then looked up at me and just smiled as she put her hand on my neck. Going to kiss me, she smiled and took it slow with me. "You're the best." I smiled and agreed with Gabby when she told me that. "And you're my whole world."

Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I told her that, going to take another bite of her food. "Can you pass me my water?" I nodded and agreed with Gabby when she asked me that, going to reach over to my side table so that I could grab it for her. I then went to give it to her and just smiled as I kept eating breakfast with her that morning. Now this was very comfortable and I just knew that this was exactly what Gabby needed....she needed me to hold her close and make her feel better. "Remember that I'm here every step of the way babe." Gabby agreed and smiled.
