Chapter 331

Matt's POV: After getting a beer, I smiled when I watched Gabby grab herself a beer too. Wrapping my arm around her, I smiled as I went to bend down and kissed her softly. "Thanks for setting this up." Gabby nodded and smiled when I told her that. "Listen, you walk around and talk to all of our friends." I nodded and agreed with Gabby when she told me that and just smiled at her. Going to grab her hand, I stepped close to her and just brought her against my chest. Putting her hand on my chest, Gabby smiled at me and then kissed me softly. "Later, I promise."

I nodded and smirked when Gabby told me that before going to walk over to our friends. That's when I saw Boden and smiled. "You're my friend and not my boss tonight right Boden?" Turning to look at me, Boden just laughed and smiled. "Of course I am Casey." I smiled and agreed with him as I went to shake his hand. That's when I saw Donna there and just walked up to her. Going to wrap my arm around her, I smiled. "God, it's been a while since I've seen you." Donna nodded and smiled when I told her that. "Yeah, I've been pretty busy taking care of our 4 kids at home."

Donna nodded and smiled when I told her that. "Okay, I hate to even ask right now but..." I then laughed and just agreed with me. That's when I decided to do something. Going to grab my phone, I went to look at everybody. "Okay everybody, listen up." Everybody then turned to look at me. "So listen...I already know that everybody is going to want to see updated pictures of our kids when I walk over to you guys." They all agreed with me when I said that. "So here's what I'm going to do so that I can save my phone's battery life for emergencies." They all went to listen.

"I'm going send everybody pictures of our kids. You can look at them and comment on them. Don't ask." Gabby smiled when I said that. "Good idea Matt. Heck, we should do that the minute we all get together." I nodded and just smiled when she told me that. I then went to go pick up my phone so that I could send all of our friends new pics of our boys and the girls. And that included a few family pictures that we got. Hitting send, I saw everybody take out their phones. That meant that I was going to be getting a minute to sit down and relax, sitting in a booth.

Once that was done, everybody just looked at the pictures and I heard a bunch of comments. "Awe." I laughed and just smiled when they said that. "Predictable answer." That's when Gabby came to walk over to me and just smiled as she looked at me. "I'm going to sit in the booth with you. Our friends can come to us, I want to be with you on your birthday." I nodded and smiled when she said that. "Then you go sit on the inside. I'm going to get up if I have to." Gabby nodded and agreed with me when I said that. Getting up, I just smiled at Gabby.

Getting close to me, Gabby put her hands on my chest and smiled as she came to kiss me softly. Taking it slow with her, I smiled because I was really happy to share a nice kiss with Gabby right now. "I love you." I smiled and agreed with Gabby when she said that. "I love you too. Now just go sit down." Gabby nodded and agreed with me when I told her that. Going to get in the booth, Gabby smiled as she went to sit in the booth. Slapping her butt on her way in, I smirked. That's when Gabby turned to look at me and she was shocked. "Matt!" I laughed and smirked at her.

That's when I heard my sister walk over to me. "I hope you don't mind if we join you guys here in the table?" I shook my head when Christie asked me that. "I wouldn't expect any less." She smiled and agreed with me when I told her that. Standing next to me, she smiled and then went to kiss my cheek. "Happy birthday again. I am going to need to come over sometime so that I can spend some time with your kids and you." I nodded and smiled when she told me that. "That sounds great. However, Violet doesn't expect to babysit afterwards. Family time."

Violet agreed with me when I said that and just smiled as she went to sit down next to her mom. I then looked at her and smiled. "How's school going Violet?" Violet smiled when I asked her that. "It's going good. Classes are great. Just hate that I have gym. Oh and then I am so bored after school. I didn't make any teams so I do my homework during my last period since it's study period. So, I am bored for a couple hours after school." I smiled when she said that before looking at Christie. "Well, you can always come over to our place after school."
