Hitting Reset Season 5: Family Life Part 3

Chapter 322

Matt's POV: After spending the past hour taking a nap in bed with Gabby, I sighed as I went to get dressed again since Sofia just started to cry. I'm pretty sure that it's time for her to get another bottle anyways. So...I'm going to let Gabby sleep while I give her the bottle she needs in the sitting room that me and Gabby have up here in our room. It also (temporarily) doubles as their nursery. However, I am pretty sure they are going to be here for a few more months. We are going to want to keep a close eye on them. Going to walk over to the fridge, I smiled as I grabbed a bottle before walking over to Sofia's crib. "Hi baby girl. Is somebody a little hungry?"

Setting the bottle down on the changing table in between our girls' cribs, I smiled as I went to bend down and just picked her up. "Hi princess. You okay with daddy giving your bottle to you?" Going to bring her close to me, I smiled and went to kiss her forehead softly. Cuddling up to me, Sofia grabbed my shirt and just laid her head down on my chest. Grabbing her blanket, I went to put it over my shoulder and just smiled as I went to make my way over to the sitting area we have in here in our room. "Yeah, daddy's going to give you a bottle isn't he little girl?" Making my way over to the couch, I smiled as I went to grab the blanket we have up here while sitting down.

I then went to go sit down and just smiled as I got comfortable on the couch with Sofia. Once that was done, I moved the blanket to cover us both up. "Here we go, all comfortable with daddy aren't you baby girl?" Going to move the bottle closer to her, I smiled as I went to put it close to her mouth. Opening right away, I smiled because our girls were such easy babies. "Good job Sof. You like eating with daddy don't you?" Sofia just kept eating as I spoke to her. Meanwhile, I went to kiss her forehead softly and just smiled because this was the dream. I am very comfortable with her in my arms and I have a lot of practice feeding kids like this. Our boys especially.

 That's when I heard Gabby speak to me from bed. "You feeding Sof?" Looking up at her, I smiled. "Hey, did I wake you up by talking to her?" Gabby smiled and agreed. "It's okay. It was cute." I smiled and agreed with Gabby when she told me that. "I'm going to concentrate on Sofia for a bit okay? You just rest there." Gabby shook her head when I said that. "Non sense, I am going to get up and grab Hannah. Then, I can feed her." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that and just smiled. That's when I saw her get out of bed and walk over to me in her underwear. "Damn baby." Gabby laughed and smirked when I said that. "You like that you see?"

Walking up to me, Gabby put her hands on my face and just smiled as she kissed me softly. "I love you." I smiled and agreed with Gabby when she told me that. "I love you too...and thank you." Gabby just looked at me when I told her that. "For what?" Going to move my hand to Sofia's leg, I just smiled as I turned my head and looked down at her. "For all four of our kids." Bending down, I went to kiss Sofia's forehead and just smiled at our beautiful little girl. Gabby then smiled at me and just went to rub my cheek. "We can hold them in bed okay?" I nodded and agreed with Gabby when she told me that. "One more kiss?" Gabby laughed and agreed.

Bending down, Gabby put her hands on my cheeks and just smiled as she kissed me softly. Taking it slow with her, I smiled because this was great. "I love you. And I think I'm going to sit here while I feed Sofia. Then, I can rinse the bottle in the washroom." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I told her that. "Sounds good." I smiled and agreed with Gabby when she told me that. "Good, that's exactly what I want to hear. Now listen, you go get Hannah and then you can feed her in bed." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I said that before going to get Hannah. "By the way, I was thinking...how about instead of sex tonight, we take a nice bath together?"

Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I said that. "I love that idea. But listen, I am going to go feed her in bed." I nodded and agreed with Gabby when she told me that. "Good idea." Going to walk up to her crib, Gabby just smiled as she looked at Hannah before bending down to grab her. "Hi princess, you ready to have some of momma?" Going to grab her blanket, Gabby smiled as she put Hannah's head on her shoulder. She then went to look at me and smiled as she grabbed my hand on her way by me. "We are going to rest this afternoon. Maybe we can get the boys up here and they can sit in our laps while holding their sisters?" I bit my lip. "We'll see."
