Hitting Reset Season 6: The Pandemic Begins

Chapter 354

Matt's POV: After spending the past hour relaxing in bed with Gabby, I smiled as I came out of the washroom after getting dressed so we could go for a walk. Seeing Sofia laying down on the bed, I just went to walk over to her. Leaning over her, I smiled as I looked at her while she laid down on my pillow. Bending down, I put my hand on her cheek and smiled before going to kiss her face. I swear, she is so adorable and I am so glad that she's ok. "Hi baby girl, you ready to go for a walk with mommy and daddy?" That's when Gabby came out of the closet and smiled at me. "So cute." Turning around to look at her, I smiled at what she was wearing. "God, you look so sexy."

 Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I told her that. "You like what I'm wearing?" I nodded and smiled when Gabby told me that. Going to walk over to her, I smiled as I went to wrap my arm around her. Wrapping her arms around my back, Gabby smiled as I she kissed me softly. "God, you are so handsome right now." I nodded and smiled when Gabby told me that before going to put my hand on her neck. Just taking it nice and slow with Gabby, I smiled because this was exactly what I wanted to do right now. "Okay, calm down. We are going for a walk. I already told your mom and asked her to get the boys ready." Gabby smiled and agreed.

That's when we heard Gabby's mom come upstairs with the boys and Hannah. "How does this look for them?" Going to look at the boys, I smiled, "They look amazing." She smiled and agreed with me when I said that. "I also brought you guys the baby carriers you both wanted." I laughed. "Well first, we need to go put out jackets on." Camila then realized that. "Right, of course." Going to walk over with the boys, she smiled as she went to set them down on the bed. "Listen, I want to ask you something." Gabby agreed with her. "Go ahead mom." Camila then took a breath. "Listen, I get COVID stuff is in tact. But you guys trust Antonio right?"

Gabby looked at her mom when I said that. "Of course mom. Do you want to go over?" Camila agreed. "He wants Eva this weekend. She'll come back on Monday for your shift." That's when I heard Eva come upstairs. "More like Sunday. Sorry but, I have to say this but...I am not just living here for you guys." Gabby was confused when her niece said that.

Note to Readers: I am not sure if I mentioned but...Eva is going to be living with Matt and Gabby during the pandemic to help with the kids. Room is in the basement next to her grandmother's.

"Okay, then why exactly are you living here Eva?" Eva then laughed. "I will go crazy if I have to live with Diego 24/7." I nodded and agreed with Eva when she said that. "That makes sense." Eva just smiled and agreed. "Thanks again for letting me live here. I like spending time with my cousins." Gabby smiled and agreed with Eva when she said that. "It's our pleasure sweetie." Going to walk up to her, she smiled as she went to hug her. "Maybe your dad can stay for supper before you leave?" Gabby turned to look at me when she said that and I just smiled. "I love that idea. Maybe I can get an update on that case we helped out with?" Gabby agreed.

Walking over to me, she came to wrap her arm around my back and just smiled as she went to kiss me softly. Taking it slow with her, I smiled before looking at her. "Listen, are you guys staying for a while...or are you guys going to be leaving while we are on our walk?" Camila then shook her head. "No, we are staying for supper. In fact, I am going to be making supper while you guys take a walk." Gabby smiled and agreed with her mom when she said that before going to hug her again. "Can you call me when Antonio gets here?" Camila nodded and smiled when Gabby asked her that. "Of course. But listen, I am going to go start cooking. Also, I am trying to get Diego."

Gabby agreed with her mom. "Yes, please!" I just laughed and smiled when she said that. "Of course. But listen, we'll get our of your hair and you guys can go on a walk." We both agreed with her when she said that and nodded. Turning to look at Gabby, I smiled at her. "You okay with us having our kids alone this weekend?" Gabby laughed when I asked her that. "I'm sure that my mom will be back before Sunday. She'll get bored. Either that, or maybe we can go to Antonio's this weekend." I smiled and agreed with her. "Still, I love that Eva is living here. It's nice." Gabby then thought of something. "You know, we could always invite your sister to stay the weekend."

I smiled and agreed with Gabby when she suggested that. "And I think that she has Violet this weekend." Gabby agreed and then went to walk out. "Mom!" That's when Camila turned to look at her from the second floor. "Yes sweetie?" Gabby then smiled. "Do you mind maybe cleaning up your rooms? Matt is going to invite his sister and niece over to help  us this weekend with the kids. Then you can come back on Monday." Camila smiled and agreed. "Sure thing, that sounds perfect. She can join the family supper too." Gabby agreed. "Thanks mom, we appreciate this. We just need help with the kids." She agreed and nodded. "And I get to go to Antonio's"

Me and Gabby both agreed when she said that and smiled. "Listen, I'm going to call Christie ok Gabby?" Gabby agreed with me when I asked her that. "Sure thing. I'm going to go touch up my makeup with you call her okay?" I nodded and smiled when she told me that, watching her walk away to the washroom so that she could do her makeup. Meanwhile, I went to call my sister.

Once I finished talking to my sister, I smiled as I came downstairs to see Gabby helping her mom get the boys dressed. "God, I still love their little outfits." Turning to look up at me, Gabby smiled and agreed. "Yeah. Uhm, I put Hannah over there in the couch. We need to put our jackets on first." I nodded and agreed with Gabby when she told me that. Going to walk over to the living room, I smiled at Hannah while also bouncing Sofia. "Hey princess, you think you can just entertain your sister for me while daddy goes to put his jacket on?" Hannah then started to laugh as I looked down at her. Going to put my hand on her chest, I smiled at her.

"God, you are so adorable." Stroking her chest, I went to kiss her forehead and smiled. "Now, you little ones just relax while daddy goes to put his jacket on. Once that's done...he and mommy are going to come pick you guys up and hold you on our chests." Gabby smiled when I said that and then turned to look at me. "You are so adorable when you talk like that." Turning to look at Gabby, I smiled and agreed with her when she told me that while standing up. Making my way back over to her, I smiled as I looked at Noah while Gabby got Andy dressed. "Here little guy, how about you let daddy help you?" Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I told her that.

"So, what did your sister say?" She smiled at me. "She said that they are going to come later and stay until after our next shift. Violet is doing school from home and Christie is working from home." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I said that. That's when I turned to look at Camila. "Camila, if you want to stay at Antonio's until Tuesday....then that would be great. I want my niece and sister to get a chance to stay for a while." Camila smiled and agreed with me. "That sounds like a good idea. You guys have fun with her sister." Smiling, I agreed with her before looking at Gabby. "You okay with that?" Gabby smiled and agreed with me. "Yes, sounds perfect."

I smiled and agreed with her when she told me that, going to continue getting the kids ready as we got ready to take a walk together as a family.
