Matt's POV: As me and Gabby continued to to lay down in bed together, I just smiled as we continued to watch the Dateline. "Holy shit!" That's when I heard Gabby move on my chest. "What?" She sounded a little groggy and I just relaxed that I may have woken her up. "Oh god, did I wake you up?" Gabby looked up at me when I asked her that and nodded. I sighed when she said that before going to kiss her forehead softly. "Sorry babe." Gabby shook her head when I told her that. "It's okay. What's the update?" I then smirked as I looked down at her. "The black widow's dead." Gabby just looked at me when I said that. "What?" I nodded and agreed with her.
"Okay, now that's a twist that I wasn't expecting." I laughed and agreed with Gabby when she told me that. "Tell me about it. That was really shocking." Gabby smiled when I said that and just agreed with me as she came to lay down on my chest more. Nuzzling her head into the crook of my neck, she smiled because this was what we both wanted to do right now. Bending down, I went to kiss the top of her head and just smiled. "God, you are so comfortable right now." I laughed and agreed with Gabby when she said that. "You are always comfortable when you're laying down on my chest. So, it's not that surprising that you're comfortable right now."
Gabby nodded and agreed with me when I told her that and smiled. She then went to rub my chest before looking at the TV to continue watching the Dateline with me. Going to kiss her forehead softly, I wrapped my arms around her again before whispering to her. "You sleep good?" Gabby nodded and agreed with me when I asked her that. "Always do when I'm sleeping on your chest." I nodded and agreed with Gabby when she told me that because I felt the same way. "Oh definitely, so comfortable right now." Going to kiss her forehead again, I smiled because this was exactly what I wanted right now. "Anything else you want to do right now?"
Gabby laughed when I asked her that and then proceeded to kiss my chest. "Not right now. I am very comfortable in my amazing husband's arms." I nodded and agreed with Gabby when she told me that. I then proceeded to roll over on top of her before smirking as I bent down to kiss her softly. Moving her hand to my neck, Gabby just took it slow with me and smiled. "God, I love you so much." I smiled and agreed with Gabby when she told me that because I felt the same way. "I love you too. And god, you are so great right now." Gabby nodded and smiled when I told her that. "Nothing like spending a bunch of time with the man I love right now." I smiled.
"If only we were alone in the house...then we could have sex." Gabby laughed and agreed with me when I told her that. She then proceeded to put her hand on my neck and smiled as we both took it slow with each other. However, it wasn't long before we were disturbed. I groaned when that happened and then bent down to kiss Gabby's neck. "Want me to just ignore it?" Gabby shook her head when I asked her that and sighed. "I have a feeling that we shook answer it." I just nodded and agreed with Gabby when she told me that. Rolling over off of her, I just smiled as I went to reach for my phone. Once that was done, I went to see what someone texted me.
Jay text:
'Hey, me and Erin are going to my family cabin to isolate. Want to join us to protect your kids?'
Rolling over onto my back, I went to look at Gabby and smiled at her. "So, it's Jay and Erin." Gabby agreed with me. "How are they doing?" I smiled at her. "They are doing good. However, he just asked me something that I am not sure what you would want to do based on your last answer." Gabby agreed with me when I said that. "Jay and Erin are going to his family cabin to isolate. He then asked me whether we want to join them so that we can protect the kids?" Gabby agreed with me when I said that and just smiled at me. "Ask them what the amenities are at their cabin." I nodded and agreed with her when she told me that, knowing we need to know.
Matt reply:
'Say we join you. What are the amenities that we can expect at the cabin?'
Jay reply:
'Indoor pool and hot tub. Top floor suite with master ensuite. We're below you.'
Turning to look at Gabby, I smiled at her. "Okay, so they have an indoor pool and a hot tub. We'd have the top floor suite with a master ensuite." Gabby agreed with me when I said that and just smiled. "Wow, that actually sounds nice. We can take a swim together and stuff. Have a bunch of fun together." I smiled and agreed with Gabby when she told me that. "Honestly, I'm leaning towards going with them. What are you thinking?" Gabby smiled at me. "Well, our honeymoon was rudely interrupted a couple times. We could do this as a lil' honeymoon." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that. Rolling over to hover over her, I smiled as I went to kiss her.
"So, what are you thinking right now?" Gabby smiled when I asked her that. "I want to go. I know that this would be scary but...I want to go." I nodded and agreed with Gabby when she told me that and smiled. "Think that our family would be okay with it?" Gabby agreed with me and nodded. "They know that we want to protect the kids...we need to just get away and relax. This is exactly what we need." I smiled and agreed with her again before going to bend down to kiss her again. Taking it nice and slow with her, I just smiled because of how comfortable I was with her right now. "I love you." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I told her that. "So sexy."
I smiled and agreed with Gabby when she told me that. "I love you too. Now listen, I am going to text Jay and tell him that we're going to take him up on his offer. I want to go take some time away from you. Maybe a bit of sex if they are okay with it." Gabby laughed and agreed with me when I told her that. "This is going to be perfect. Nothing like a bunch of intimate time way from the kids. It'll reduce my stress. I really don't want to give this to them." I nodded and agreed with Gabby when she told me that, going to kiss her softly. "I love you. Now listen, I am going to tell Jay that we'll take him up on his offer and then we can get packing." Gabby smiled and agreed.
Matt text:
'When are you and Erin leaving for your cabin?'
Jay reply:
'We're leaving tomorrow morning. You guys in?'
Matt reply:
'Yes please. Want to meet at your place or ours?'
Jay reply:
'Can you meet us here? We're north of you. It's in Wisconsin.'
Matt reply:
'Sounds good. We'll pack up. See you in the morning.'
Turning to look at Gabby after sending my last text to Jay, I smiled as I went to grab her hand and then leaned in to kiss her softly. "Let's get packing so that we can go tomorrow." Gabby agreed and smiled when I told her that, loving that idea.
