Chapter 392

Back with the Caseys as they sit in bed:
Matt's POV: As I lay down in bed with Gabby, I smiled as we played a game of chess. Yeah, we need to calm down and relax...and it's not like we can really play with our kids. Might as well play games with each other. "Good idea bringing some board games in here." Gabby agreed with me when I told her that and just smiled at me. "Trust me when I say this...but there is nothing I would rather do right now other than spending time with you." Gabby agreed with me when I told her that and smiled. "You want to know what this reminds me of?" I looked at her. "What?"

Gabby then laughed. "The time between Louie and trying for a baby." I nodded and agreed with her, smiling because I knew exactly what she was talking about. We had a bunch of time alone with each other because we were basically alone. Severide moved out before we got married but...he never moved back in after Louie left. Still, it's nice that we're alone. "I still have no regrets about giving Louie back to his dad." Gabby looked up at me when I said that. "Really?" I sighed when she said that. "Being a dad to sons now...I understand the bond you get."

Going to make another move, I went to look at Gabby. "And in my opinion...I think that it also led to us having the girls." Gabby looked up at me when I said that. "How?" I sighed when Gabby asked me that. "I don't think we would've gone for a second pregnancy if we still had Louie." Gabby thought about it and agreed with me. "Yeah, I think that's right." I smiled and just agreed with her when she told me that. Going to lean over the chess board, I smiled as I went to kiss her softly. Gabby smiled when I did that. I then leaned back and went to make another move.

Gabby then looked at it and just sighed. "God, you are really boxing me in Matt." I smiled at her. "Hey, you told me not to take it easy on you." Gabby agreed with me when I said that and just smiled at me. "Yeah, I remember that now." I nodded and agreed with her. "So listen, I want you to know that you can talk to me anytime....you know that right babe?" Gabby nodded and agreed with me when I told her that. "I guess one thing that I am worried about is exposing the kids." I agreed with her when she told me that. Going to grab her hand, I smiled at her.

"Gabby, I promise that things are going to be fine." Gabby agreed with me when I told her that and just smiled at me. Going to tug her close to me, I decided to tease her and just tugged her across the chess board and onto my chest. Looking down at me, Gabby went to put her hand on my chest and smiled as she bent down to kiss her softly. Going to grab her neck, I smiled as I went to take it nice and slow with her. "God, you are so sexy." Gabby agreed with me and smiled when I told her that. "Sorry about the board game." Gabby shook her head and smiled.

"Do you really care about the game?" I shook my head when Gabby asked me that. "No, I really like kissing you." Bending down, she went to kiss me and smiled as I took it nice and slow with her. "How are you doing right now?" Gabby smiled when I asked her that. "I'm doing good to tell you the truth." Going to lay down on my chest, Gabby just smiled as she cuddled up to me. Moving my hand to her neck, I smiled as I went to kiss it softly. "I wish it was warm outside...then we could go take a swim." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I told her that.

"Yeah, I feel the same way. I specially like that idea considering you've been working out." I laughed and agreed with Gabby when she told me that, well aware of the fact that Gabby loves my body. Going to grab her neck, I smiled as I went to start kissing it softly. Gabby loved it when I did that and just smiled....specially since I wasn't doing it very sexually. Rather, I was doing it very intimately and Gabby just loved it. She was amazing and I wanted her to know that. "You know that you're the love of my life right Gabby?" Gabby smiled and agreed with me. "I know."

I then just held Gabby close to me as we both laid down in bed. "Listen, I am going to go put the chess board away okay? Then we can cuddle up to each other like this." Gabby nodded and agreed with me when I told her that, going to get off my chest so I could put our chess game away. "Oh, you want any food? I can text my sister." Gabby agreed with me. "Just some toast." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that and smiled. "I love that idea." Gabby just smiled and agreed with me when I told her that, glad that we were going to have a snack together.

Once my sister finished bringing up some toast up for us, I smiled as I came back to bed and just looked at Gabby since I wanted to rest in bed with her. Going to set the food down on our bed, I smiled at Gabby and then came to get in bed with her. Coming to sit in my lap as soon as I got in there, Gabby went to lean back against my chest before tugging the covers up. Going to grab some of the toast, I smiled because I was actually a little hungry. Gabby then proceeded to do the same and smiled as she went to take a bite of her toast. "You liking sitting like this?"

Gabby nodded and smiled when I asked her that before going to take a bite of her toast. "Nothing like it. This is very comfortable and there's nothing more I want to do right now. I specially love how comfortable my pillow is." I laughed and agreed with Gabby when she told me that. "So, now I'm a pillow." Gabby agreed with me when I told her that. "Oh yes, that is exactly what you are when I am sitting down in your lap." I nodded and agreed with Gabby. "Can this count as lunch for us?" I smiled and agreed with her. "I think we can." Gabby agreed.

I smiled when she said that before going to take another bite of my toast. I then proceeded to move my hand to Gabby's stomach and smiled because I was very comfortable right now. "Want to just eat and then we can talk again?" Gabby agreed with me when I told her that and smiled, liking the idea. "Yes, yes please." I nodded and just agreed as we both went to eat lunch.
