Chapter 350

Matt's POV: After making my way into the hospital (with a mask on), I just rushed past the doors when some of the nurses stopped me. "Sir, you can't go in." I turned to look at them when I heard Natalie. "Matt!" Turning to look at her, I just agreed. "My kids." Natalie agreed and then looked at the nurse. "They are, just relax." Going to walk in, I looked for Gabby when I saw them. "Gabby!" Gabby then turned to look at me and just motioned for me to walk over to them. I agreed with him when the proceed to wrap my arms around her. "I'm here now. It's okay."

Gabby agreed with me when I said that. Going to walk in, I looked at Camila who was there with all of our kids. "Wow, big group here." Camila nodded and agreed with me. "Listen, I'm going to give you time. Want me to bring the kids?" I shook my head. "No stay." She agreed with me and nodded. Going to look at Sofia, I smiled at her. "So, what's the prognosis Will?" Will then took a breath. "It's just a scare. She hit his head while trying to walk based on what your mom said Gabby." Gabby then turned to look at her mom and just went to shame her. "Sorry."

Taking a breath, I agreed with Gabby and just went to kiss the side of her head. "We gave her a little bit of kids' Advil and he's feeling better. But still, I want her to rest." I nodded and agreed with him when he said that. "Of course. We're going to take her home." Gabby looked at me when I said that. "But we're..." I shook my head. "We're parents first. I told Boden." Gabby agreed with me when I said that and just took a breath. "Is she going to sleep for the rest of the day you think?" Will agreed. "Yeah, she's going to stay want a lot of sleep." I took a breath.

"That's fine of course." Gabby agreed with me when I said that and just went to grab my hand. I could tell she was worried. Going to kiss the side of her head, I sighed. "She can sleep in our room tonight okay?" Gabby nodded when I said that before going to rub her back. "Just take a breath and remember that things are going to be fine." Gabby agreed with me when I said that. "Do you mind if I hold her...or is she already all good?" Will smiled. "She already looks pretty good. I think that your mom just brought her here out of caution. And honestly, I think it was the best idea."

I agreed with Will when he said that before going to put my hand on Gabby's back. "Should we stay just in case or..." Will shook his head. "Honestly, I'd just go relax and go home. It's what you both need." I nodded and smiled when he said that. Walking up to him, I went to shake his hand and smiled. "Thank you so much for doing this for us Will." He agreed and smiled. "My pleasure." That's when I remembered something. "By the way...your brother, again!" Will agreed with me and laughed. "Yeah. Now listen, I need to go. You take your little girl home." I nodded and agreed.

"Camila, can you get the van?" She agreed and nodded when I asked her that. "I'll be out there waiting for you." I smiled and agreed with her. "Want me to bring the kids?" I bit my lip and shook her head. "I think it might be the best, get them healthy." Camila nodded and smiled when I said that. Going to walk over to the stroller, she went to push it out of the exam room and then walked out. Going to look at Gabby, I just went to rub her back and sighed. "How are you doing?" Gabby then went to pick Sofia up in her arms and kissed her cheek. "Better now."

I nodded and agreed with Gabby when she told me that. "And listen, I already spoke to Chief and we can go home okay? That's what we're going to do." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when i said that. Stepping close to her, I went to put my hand on her cheek and then went to kiss her softly. "Listen, let's just get out of here now that Sofia is cleared. However, you are going home with your mom okay? I'll go back to the firehouse and get our things okay? Want me to tell our friends what happened?" Gabby agreed with me when I asked her that. "Yes please."

I nodded and smiled when she said that. "Do you want me to get the next shift off?" Gabby shook her head. "No. And I am still working. Don't even start that." I nodded and agreed with Gabby when she said that. Going to kiss her softly, I smiled as I went to turn my head to kiss Sofia's forehead. "Hey little girl. Mommy's going to bring you home but daddy will be there soon too. Then, you're going to cuddle up to me in bed. How does that sound?" Sofia then laid her head down on Gabby's chest. "Listen, I'll be home soon. Ask your mom to watch them okay?"

Gabby agreed with me when I said that. "Yeah, we need to concentrate on Sofia right now." I nodded and agreed with Gabby when she said that. Looking at Sofia, I put my hand on the back of her head and just smiled at her. "Listen, I am going to go get our things okay? You just go home and I'll meet you in bed okay? I can cuddle up to this little girl." Gabby agreed with me when I said that and just smiled at me. Turning to face me, Gabby just smiled as she stepped close to me and kissed me softly. "I love you." I smiled and agreed with her.

Kissing her forehead softly, I smiled as I gave her the comfort that she needed right now. Looking down into her eyes, I smiled as I went to kiss her softly. "Let's go okay?" Gabby nodded and agreed with me when I said that and just smiled at me. Going to grab her hand, I smiled as I went to intertwine our fingers so that we could leave the hospital and make our way out of the hospital.
