28- How Bad The Nerd Gets?

Alex's P.O.V.

I read some prints from our research report. Jane is doing questions. She's probably done by now if Dare didn't bother her. For what I know, the guys stayed outside the little room, kaya baka malayo siya sa kanila. Though Dare is a little out of hand and can't sit still, pero iba ang nakita kong scene. Jane is walking fast to his direction. Thea follows her, pero may mali.

"Ja—" I was about to call her, pero biglang may lumipad na notebook. A boomerang?

Why am I seeing an opposite interaction?

Dare always made the first move to annoy her. It's the opposite now.

"Ouch!"

It smacked Dare's face. He covers his eyes, and is still recovering but Jane went near his table. She tosses away his feet on it and strangled him.

"What the hell, Doll?!"

"Anong what the hell?! Bakit mo pinakalat na sexually harassed ako?!"

I hurried to them, but got stopped. When I saw others, they got alarm. Theo and Carl stood near them. Carl got Jane's arm, he's pulling her sa pagsubok na lumapit. Theo is in their middle, hands spread open in between them. Sam also immediately hold Dare's shoulder.

"What are you saying?! Bakit ka bato ng bato d'yan?!" Dare stood up, still holding his cheeks and right eye. "It hurts, what did you do?!"

"It hurts?! Ayos ka lang?! Para 'yan lang nagrereklamo ka na! Eh ako, paano naman ako?! Naisip mo bang nasaktan din ako dahil sa pinag-utos mo sa mga kaibigan mo?! Sinira din nila gamit ko, tapos ngayon pinapakalat mong sexually harassed ako?!" She furiously shouted at the top of her lungs.

Dinig siya sa buong library. I'm sure this can be heard outside. Sinarado ko ang pinto sa pagpasok. Binaba ko rin muna ang mga papers. These are not the concern at this moment. Jane is angry about something, and we all know that it is the issue happened at the parking lot. Clearly, Dare do not know it, because he's also getting angry, scoffing for the blame he didn't do.

"Me? You're telling me I spread a news about you?!"

"Oo, sino pa ba?! Wag ka nang tumanggi pa! Alam kong ikaw ang nag-utos sa kanila noon. Tsaka, alam na alam ko na rin naman, dahil ikaw din ang nagtapon ng libro ko sa recycle bin! Kaya anong tinatanggi mo d'yan?! Kinig na kinig ko rin pating sinabi ng kaibigan mo. Eto pa nga ang nagkuwento!" She pointed at her front, which kay Theo. "Nakinig ko sa kaniyang ikaw ang may pakana noon matagal na! Pero ngayon hinaluan mo pa ng malisiyosong bagay?! Hinding-hindi na kita papalagpasin, isusum—"

Dare pushed Theo a bit before stepping near her, grabbing her point finger. Intently, he looks straight at her with tighten jaws. He lowly spokes. "What are you saying? Yes, tinapon ko ang libro mo sa recycle bin, but I didn't do those other things. It wasn't me, kaya wag mo akong sisihin sa bagay na hindi ko ginawa!"

"Dare, stop." I warned, getting close to them. "This is library, maraming tao sa labas. Can you calm down? There's no need to shout."

He is dangerously walking close to her. Heated and pissed as he is, hindi magandang mapalapit sa kaniya. He's easy to snap. It's not like he can hurt a girl, but prevention is better than be sorry if something happens. Sam pulls him a little behind, he knows the consequences too. At Jane's state, we could say that this would not end well. She's covered with emotions. Naiintindihan ko, but Dare is also getting fired up.

"Why would I stop?! She threw a notebook on me!"

"Kulang pa ang notebook para sa sa'yo!" Jane snatches her arm from Carl, dumeretsiyo siya kay Dare.
