"Legacy, come on. I don't have time for this". Ryan was irritated with his sister and her playing around. He seemed to be irritated by everything everyone does.
"You got to come catch me first" She mind linked him. He rolled his eyes and turned around and strolled into the house to finish what he was doing.
He knew, she knew and everyone knew, chasing her would be the last thing he would do. In fact, it wasn't the last, because it was never on the list of things. He actually had all the time in the world to play around with her, he just wouldn't. That wasn't him.
"She's not shifting is she?" Lucien chuckled as Ryan entered the house. It wasn't surprising Legacy was annoying Ryan. Only because she wanted him to get out his moods which he never seemed to come out of. It wasn't that he was cruel or hated them. He hated life.
Shaking his head no, Ryan strolled past Lucien and made way inside the kitchen to remove the cooked pizza from out of the oven. He hated the smell.
His siblings loved pizza, especially Legacy. She loved her wolf just as much as she loved pizza. In fact, she was infatuated with her wolf and anything supernatural. Which made her complete opposites of Ryan.
He hated anything supernatural. He hated himself. He thought, 'out of all supernaturals, he had to be a tribrid'. The one who couldn't stand being supernatural.
People would die to be a werewolf, not him. He didn't want magic and he didn't want to be a vampire either.
Ryan never used his powers ever since he was a kid. When he was six, his magic manifested and he was aware of having it. He did things like shut out lights, knock over glass, and other creepy things that would make you think there was a ghost.
He got his wolf when he was ten years old and that was it. He never used his strength, or his speed. Never used his magic since he was eight. That's when he began to stroll down the path of darkness. When his mother's absence truly got to him.
Ryan was technically a human who was just not human. Too bad if he was to die, he wouldn't stay a human and he had no control over it.
Ever since his mother died, he loathed being supernatural. She made things fun and cool when he was a child. Then she died for those exact same powers. For being herself. For being a tribrid.
He was a living constant reminder of the one he loved most and could never have again. Though she wasn't the only one he lost. He lost his father who he also loved, also Jude though he never had a relationship with him as a child.
He never knew what happened the day she died, but he knew it was bad. Everyone was deeply scarred after her death and he wished he knew why. He felt the pain they did, but was denied the pain of knowing what happened.
Weird he even cares about being deprived of pain.
However, that was something all families went through. Pain. But no one feels the need of pain even when they're already going through it everyday. He wanted to know, he needed to know.
After everything, after knowing about Travion before it happened, it was a switch. Travion was ruthless, but he wouldn't hurt his own family. He was strong and alive.
Now, he was a hybrid, a vampire meaning he died or he was killed. He had no humanity meaning whatever happened was too hard to heal from and he just shut it all off. That day ruined him and destroyed him inside out.
Ryan just wished he knew what happened to understand. But he didn't know anything.
Since he had no biological parents, Legend took in Ryan since he was technically his second father also since he was a kid. Now Legend was taking the complete role of his father even if Ryan doesn't appreciate it or care.
