58. Our biggest Fight

"You're home" Corey creepily smiled at the two. They didn't know why he was acting strange, but they knew they were in trouble just by his smile, his posture and his rare greeting.

"Let's talk about that stunt you just pulled Quincy". There it was. They were in trouble and didn't know how. Pivoting, Corey disappeared into the house and the two glanced at each other.

Sharing the same look as they knew to prepare for punishment. Though slightly it made Sossi internally smile. Quincy had punished her hours ago and now he was going to be punished.

Not wanting to keep Corey waiting, they quickly made their way inside the house. Purposely, Sossi walked slower just to see how Quincy would react. It was quite humorous to know Quincy's body tensed when Corey mentioned knowing about what happened.

He usually doesn't care. However he see's Corey as his older brother just like the rest of them do. Being unbothered or nonchalant would deem disrespectful to him and he didn't want to disrespect Corey or anyone else for that matter.

Sossi realized the house had been strangely silent and no strong scent lingered around from her siblings. "Sossi" Corey elevated his voice. Picking up her feet, she walked faster and met the two sitting at the dining table right across from each other.

Quincy jauntily demeanor dropped as he was sitting across from Corey. Though he looked him dead in the eyes like he's always done. Quincy was always confident and always bold. He had been an Alpha without knowing it.

Unlike Sossi who hadn't awakened her Alpha, he would bow before no one. "Where's everyone?" She asked slightly as she pulled the chair out next to Quincy. For some reason she felt like she was in less trouble sitting next to him.

"With Travion. He expected you two, but I told him you were planning on doing other things. And you were" Corey averted his eyes from Quincy and glared at Sossi.

She had been good at keeping eye contact. Yet she's never been in trouble before and refused to look him in the eyes. Despite Corey not holding any title, he was the Alpha of the house. He was well respected and everyone knew not to disrespect him.

Corey wasn't rude or violent. However he taught those with no manners how to develop them. Just in a less talkative way. Let's say his lessons involve the fist and feet.

"Why were you fighting them?" He questioned her. He didn't want to question Quincy unless she refused to answer. She was the less violent one and it was surprising she had been in a fight. He knew Quincy wasn't violent either, but they both would fight if necessary.

"Considering you were there. You didn't see-" She trailed off and couldn't finish her sentence. Quincy cackled and Corey shot a glance at him and he immediately turned it off with a cough to mask it.

It was the first time to see Sossi shy and embarrassed. He knew why. This was her brother.

"What? I came during the fight. You didn't have sex in a forest a mile away from the school did you?" He questioned protectively while looking at Quincy.

He had been slightly disappointed as well as overprotective. He didn't believe Quincy would do such a thing or Sossi for that matter.

"No!" Sossi quickly defended and Quincy laid his head down and laughed into his arms. "Quincy!" She pushed him by his shoulder. For an unbothered guy, her reaction was funny to him. It was a moment he wouldn't forget.

However, that laughter cut off when she pushed him and he glared at her letting her know she was in the awakening of a punishment later.

"No, we didn't do anything to that degree. Maybe just a little teasing but she deserved it for using her magic on me" Quincy confessed and she slammed her fist on the table. She didn't like him spreading her secrets though they weren't secrets.
