38. Not my game

Leaning the seat down, she scooted up on top of him as he grabbed her waist and didn't go further. Slightly, she leaned forward over his lips and paused. He was waiting and she thought teasing was sort of funny. He's always trying to keep his composure, but it ultimately fails.

"Sossi" He called her name in warning and she leaned further. Only brushing her lips against his, he yanked her down by her throat and latched onto her bottom lip as she did the same to his top lip.

Kissing Heath wasn't the same as kissing Quincy. But that's understandable because she feels for Quincy and not Heath. She continued to avoid Quincy and he didn't make it easier on her.

Always coming near her. At home, he completely changed. Now he walks around shirtless everywhere she is, he doesn't make her breakfast anymore and in doing so, she has to make her own at the same time he's making his.

He doesn't wake her up anymore and because she wakes everyone up, she has to go into his room to wake him up. She doesn't have to but she knows Corey will get on her if she doesn't. And most of the time he's getting dressed when she walks in.

However she caught on to his methods and waited an extra fifteen minutes to wake him up and she caught him sleeping. Truthfully it is a method of his. Now she doesn't know when he's up or when he isn't, which keeps her going back inside the room.

Since Victoria and Silas can drive, they go to school early and leave her and Quincy back at home. No doubt he told them to go ahead and they listened. Therefore they either share a ride to school or they run to school.

Corey doesn't think anything of it. In fact he believes Quincy is like her best friend and Quincy likes to keep that act by hugging her at random times.

When they're training separately, he keeps his eyes on her making her feel very out of place and when she's not there, he gets beat up until she gets there and he shows out. No one notices the change in his fighting but she does.

In school, she no longer sits across the room from him. He told her teachers he thinks she should sit next to him so they can be partners considering his grades are way better than hers. No doubt they listened since her grades aren't the best and she now sits next to him in class.

He also tells the teachers it's best if they assign them as partners for projects because they live together and his grades are good, so he can tutor her. And they said yes!

So truthfully, she can't avoid him. But she can ignore him and he's doing everything to make sure that breaks too. He's not the same Quincy that opened his heart up and expected her to just feel sympathy and fall into his arms.

He's Quincy who's making this a challenge and he's been winning by a long shot. Only times she has to herself is with Heath. And she means Heath alone without Claire. When she mentions Heath around Quincy, he gets mad and leaves her alone.

That's how she gets her alone time. Also sometimes he has actual one on one training with Corey and Dominic. Remember Dominic from Barbaric Claws? Since they heard wolves had been trailing Quincy, he trained every day. Two times a day in fact.

They're actually working on bringing out his Alpha which won't really work unless his Alpha feels the need to come out and it won't be until he's actually needed or he feels like it.

Then he must keep his grades up if he wants to keep this tutoring thing going. If not, she has a chance to slip right through his fingers. He's got a lot of responsibility.

Feeling Heath's hands slide under her, he pulled her up causing her to lean further on him. His head was tilted up as hers were tilted down claiming his lips aggressively.
