25. Legacy

"They're so cute" Legacy said as she stared at her brother and her future brother-in-law. That's if they didn't find their mates. "When are you going to be boo'd up?" Chyna asked her.

Chyna wasn't social, but nosey when it came to her family. Yet no one ever told her because at least she made efforts to have a relationship with her family.

Lucien and Legacy normally only been around Giovanni and Ava most of the time. Mainly Ava since Giovanni always stuck with Ryan.

"Me and Lucien were actually talking about that this morning. Well specifically mates. Whenever I find my mate would be the answer". She didn't believe in being with anyone but her mate while most likely everyone at school would pursue a relationship with someone else.

Some were even mates at school but others weren't waiting for their mates. Chyna didn't believe in waiting for her mate either, but she isn't in a relationship. Nor does she have any love interest.

Eating they're pancakes, Legacy ended up taking Chyna's because she hardly had an appetite for human food. She could eat it, it's just blood was her significant meal.

"That's practically it" She finished telling her summer. It wasn't much she did during her summer. Her family was sort of isolated from everyone else's. She didn't know why she never really pursued her family.

It crossed her mind many times of having a relationship with them, it just never actually happened. However they could talk at school as if they had been around each other forever.

Chyna's summer had been better than anyone's she believed. Chyna socialized with Eliza's kids and Trevon's children the most. Sometimes Travion's kids but they kept to themselves a lot.

Also she was around Jayla and her best friend Jheni so she no doubt had the most fun. Yet she wouldn't rub it in her face.

"No there's more" They're heads turned simultaneously at the sound of someone's voice. Their eyes landed on the source and saw it was Xena. The rest of her family had been moving around as they entered the cafeteria and going to tables or the breakfast line.

"What do you mean?" Chyna spoke up. Xena sat her tray down and instantly slid it to Legacy. It was no secret she loved to eat. Just as Lucien, she wasn't as fit and she had fat here and there which never bothered her.

She was bigger than most would think considering most of her family looked perfect or like sticks. However Legacy was okay with her body. It would give her the experience to work out and lose weight if she really wanted to.

"Well you talked about Lucien but what about Ryan? Your summer was boring but you made it seem like it was all good when that's not true.

Y'all had to deal with his sadness all the time. Trying to get him to accept him for him. It must've been hard babying your older brother who's grown may I add" She fluttered her eyes purposely.

For someone who failed a grade, she had some nerves. Legacy said nothing because part of it was true, but she also wasn't a person to have a comeback.

Chyna was going to say something, but Sossi beat her to the punch.

"It must be hard to pass the eight grade. You're so focused on everyone else, but not focused on yourself. Worried about Ryan when he's doing better than you even in his state.

You're nothing but negativity and you're going to stay that way until you learn to mind your business. You lose both of your parents and see how it feels" She told her.

Xena could care less for everything else she said, but the last thing hit her

"Sossi, you didn't have to say that. In a way, she did lose her parents" Legacy defended Xena despite what she said.
