Beating Julian in a shooting game, Luna sat back on the couch criticizing them both. Elijah had become a babysitter out of nowhere. Despite him and Eliza's differences, he was able to spend time with his nephew and niece.
It was sort of his fault why they hardly saw each other because he was always with Nora and taking care of her. Then Lucas finally grew the confidence and told him he needs to live his life. Considering Elijah was going to be forty years old in almost a decade, he shouldn't live his life taking care of his mother.
Normally Elijah would disagree, but he didn't. He decided to live his life with Nadia and the two became closer and learned a lot over the weeks. She began to think he really had a thing for vampires which was crazy because he didn't associate with the vampire side of his family.
Which wasn't really his family and they didn't treat him that way which he didn't care for. He was never a family kind of person. She was fine with knowing he didn't love her and wouldn't anytime soon.
He still didn't believe in love and a mate bond wouldn't change that. She was just happy to be with him. Until things caused a rift between the two. Isabelle no longer needed Nadia and because she would be married to Ryder, Nadia was able to pursue a relationship with Elijah.
Nadia decided to tell him everything she's been doing. Sneaking around and getting information on him to use against his family. He was angry at her and didn't see her for a few days. He wasn't angry they were after his family, because it wasn't really his family.
But because she used him. However, knowing Isabelle would've killed Nadia if she didn't put him at ease. He wouldn't want her to die or to be harmed so he got over it and swept it under the rug.
Now they are back as friends and talking. Aside from Nadia, he's been around Eliza's family. Sometimes spending the night was good for Eliza and Franco because they loved to be alone somewhere else.
Elijah loved being around his niece and nephew considering they did exactly what he did everyday. Play games. Finally he was somewhere no one complained about him playing games all day.
"And you Luna?" He asked her. They had been on the topic of the wedding. Each voiced their opinions about it. Julian didn't care and neither did Elijah.
Eliza kind of cared because Trevon was affected by Isabelle. He was attacked and that didn't ease her. Trevon was her cousin, but her best friend too. They told each other everything. She disliked allowing Isabelle into the family.
"I don't care. But you're happy right?" She asked him. He chuckles considering he clearly stated his opinion on not caring. But he knew she spoke in terms of Nadia. Meaning Eliza had been telling them about Nadia because he didn't.
He glanced up at Eliza and she looked the other way and wandered off into the kitchen like she was innocent. "I wouldn't say I'm happy but I'm glad we don't have to sneak around anymore" He answered her question.
"Oh my god!" Julian shouted as he was killed and Elijah won. "You can't beat me, my guy. I have been playing video games since I was eight". Which was true. His life was always about video games.
"Surprisingly Nadia even wants you. You're such a kid" Eliza snickered. Setting the remote down on the table, he stood up and Luna took his spot. "Surprisingly Justice even wanted you. You're a bully" He leaned against the counter.
Eliza wasn't a bully, but she bullied Justice– sexually. Justice bullied her mentally, verbally and physically. It didn't matter. "There's a difference from putting you in your place and bullying you" She reasoned.
"What was my place Eliza?" Her head peaked up to the sound of Justice's voice. She glanced at Elijah to see he was rubbing his head and guilt was written all over his face. "Are you serious Elijah?" She grew an attitude.
