Opening his eyes, he was met with only darkness and the immediate pain he felt in his neck. The floor was cold as he appeared lying on it with his cheek resting on it.
Scanning his surroundings, he saw a huge bed in front of him along with one turned on lamp on a table stand.
He was in the hotel room.
Finding the courage, he sat up and stood up straight to his full height. His eyes scanned the room as it was the exact way he left it. Suddenly he recalled the daylight ring and began feeling his pockets.
He doesn't know why he did, because he knew she had taken it when she snapped his neck. Forcing him to inhabit the truculent urge to feed. His throat itches for blood as does his body.
It was pushing for him to feed as it was incredibly hard to fight. Hastily turning his head at the loud sound of a door caught his attention.
Hearing the loud thumps against the ground from the person's shoes, he found himself walking closer to the door.
The sound of the hard feet were fading away and his hunger took over as he exited the room and went after the person he was hearing.
Coming down a hallway, his eyes were pained by the bright lights running along the hallway.
Placing his hand up, the bulb broke and shattered into pieces as the rest of them did. Creating a loud sound and the hallway became nothing but darkness.
"Hi may I check in a room" He pivoted at the sound of a female's voice.
She sounded lovely, but her scent smelled beautifully delicious.
Walking down the stairs, he came from behind the wall to see a woman at the desk wearing a black jacket in blue jeans and boots.
The room lingered in the smell of humans. More so he could hear more than one heartbeat within the room. His eyes scanned it as each person his eyes laid on, their heartbeat grew louder and the hunger grew stronger.
"Thank you. Have a nice night" She told the man at the reception. Walking away with her head down, she passed by him and he felt fangs growing as he could smell her so deeply that it was hard to refuse to sink his teeth into her neck and drink her blood.
He stood there with his head down as he was trying to fight the urge to feed, but hearing her feet stomp against the stairs, he jogged up the stairs and followed her creepily. Her perfume was very bold as it stimulated his senses.
"No lights" She said as she reached the dark hallway he broke the lights on. He heard movement and a zipper which led him to believe she was getting her phone for her flashlight.
Quietly, he made his way to her and placed his hand on her shoulder and she jumped in fear and he placed his hand over her mouth just in case she screamed. Looking down, her phone was in her hand and he took it away from her.
"It's okay. No need to be afraid" He tried calming her with words he found to be soothing. Slowly, he retracted his hand away from her mouth and she took a deep breath.
Clicking the power button on her phone, he held the phone up towards them to shine just a little light, but not enough to see his face.
"I'm sorry. It's really dark and you scared me" She apologized and he missed every word of it as his eyes were focused on her throat. He could hear her heartbeat so clearly and he could feel everything in him pushing to bite her.
The taste of her blood had him imagining and causing him to get hungrier. His fangs grew and he tried not allowing it, but the majority of him was telling him to have just a drop of her blood.
