"I heard Iymani finally got her mate back" Genni whispered. She hadn't been facing him, but at her work on her desk. Still she knew he would know who she's speaking to.

Gio hated the memory of Iymani and Ryan together. It was revolting and disturbing and he didn't know how disappointed he was in him. He believed it was because he was loyal to Camilla, though it was just loyalty all together.

Ryan hurt her, left her alone far off into the forest where she wouldn't find her way back if it took her days. He couldn't believe his ears when she told him what he did to her.

He didn't think Ryan was capable of becoming Travion, but he was wrong. He hadn't and he could see he was honest by how angry he had gotten. He didn't expect him to be so angry.

The day he took Camilla with him, he abandoned her hours later and came to him at the mansion. Ryan couldn't be around her as he only thinks of harming her.

He didn't want it to be like that. No matter how much he wanted to be near her, he felt guilty and wanted to make up for hurting her.

They had an argument and they fought of course. Ryan still hadn't been okay after Gio 'chose sides' and it wasn't his.

Brothers fight, it was fine. Then afterwards they tried doing research. Pitch black eyes indicate someone was using all of their power at once and anger is tainted within that power.

They wanted to understand how he could control all his power at once and not individually. It made no sense. He wasn't like Iris. She couldn't think straight when it happened to her or Travion.

Both of them were taken over for a certain time until their enemies were dead. However, Ryan didn't attack once. At that moment, Gio would've been the enemy.

Ryan's been really trying for the past few weeks. Trying to win control again. Starting back where he came from. He's having bad withdrawals which is really rare. A vampire has withdrawals when they haven't had enough blood for a long time.

Gio experienced it. More so forced to experience it.

This is what happens to vampires addicted to blood. He's been puking blood up and it's not red like it's supposed to be. Instead, it's black and no one knows what it means.

Not even Ryder. It was imperative they kept him with them, but he couldn't go the entire two weeks without Camilla. He was going crazy and even going through withdrawal, he was strong and would bawl out if they denied him to see her.

They had given them each two days to see each other each week so it would help Ryan and it did. However, it just eased his pain. Not much any way.

Though he went through withdrawals, he could've used magic to ease his pain and not once did he try. It was almost as if he was punishing himself for what he's done.

Putting himself through pain. Thinking it couldn't have been the same or amount of pain he put Camilla through. He hated the visual or image.

Gio didn't like to enjoy seeing someone he loved and would protect with his entire life to go through something he's gone through for more than a few months and almost a year.

Vampire withdrawals are nothing like human withdrawals. With vampires, the more blood they drink, the stronger and less chance of them dying. They consumed blood over thousands of years and when withdrawals begin, it can last up to years.

With Gio, he was lucky he had Legend. He helped him through everything, not Ryder. But over the years, he no longer sees him anymore. Maybe because he's grown now.

Ryan hadn't been going through withdrawals for a few days now which makes him think Camilla allowed him to drink from her the last time she was there. Or perhaps snuck something for him to drink.
