"I swear you're cheating!" Jheni accused Chyna. She didn't acknowledge her accusation as she found laughing and clowning her a lot funner. Since school had been out due to what happened, Chyna spent days on work.

Studying, working on tutor lessons now that she scored a tutoring position. However Harmoni and Prince took away all of her school related work and told her to do something fun.

To them, the point of being out of school was to not do any work. Chyna didn't mind, and so she called over her family. Also Jheni.

"No you just aren't as good but you'll get better" Chyna encouraged. Removing the black and red checker pieces, Jheni switched seats with Judah. Trevon's kids were all there aside from Tyler and Izaiah.

Izaiah was with Jayla who was supposed to come over, but Chyna understood wanting to spend time with her boyfriend. Then Tyler was somewhere with Jason and his group. No one tried stopping him because he doesn't listen.

He thinks he's god now. "You're planning on losing?" Chyna asked him. She whipped Jheni, Atlas, and Kash. Julian and Luna were more interested in the game system in the living room a yard away.

"I can play" He informed her. She was convinced this would be a challenge. He allowed her to move first and everytime she played, she moved the exact same piece. However her moves following that had always been different.

It was up to him to counteract those moves and get as many of her pieces off the board. "Anyone heard about what really went down at the school?" Jheni started a conversation.

Many students were wondering what happened at the school. Out of nowhere they were attacked and it was the first time since the school was built. They were all vampires who attacked at that.

Even out of school, everyone is on high alert. Border patrol was packed with stronger wolves that stayed in wolf form for hours until it was time to switch. During nighttime, Ryder sent his vampires to allied packs to protect them.

It started a lot of panic between packs and some were afraid they were next. Not the West family though. Even if they were the actual target, they weren't afraid of dying. They were protectors at heart.

"I overheard my dad talking about another Kingdom of vampires. They went after our family. No one knows if it was to kill or scare, but there's some other kingdom that wants us dead" Judah informed them.

He overheard Trevon talking to Chloe so she knew to stay alert at all times since Zaire was born. Trevon didn't allow them even ten yards from the house. Until now. Only because they were accompanied by vampires to move from one pack to another.

Though having hybrids was also a better sense of positivity. "We lost a lot of students. Their families must be devastated" Jheni stated. Sossi turned off daylight rings inside the school. That turned off everyone's daylight ring including students. Many survived but many also died.

She didn't intend to kill them, but it was the only way. However many students didn't have parents. Only vampires that they saw as brothers and sisters.

Lost in the conversation, Judah removed three of her black pieces as he triple jumped her. It was a mistake to set them a space apart as she did.

"My dad is on edge and so is my mom. She's training as hard as him to strengthen herself. She thinks she can't protect me because she's weaker" Chyna explained.

Moving a checker piece unconsciously, her focus was removed from the game. Judah smirked as he noticed it. Yet he didn't jump her even knowing he could because he wanted to give her a chance.

Harmoni felt Chyna was stronger than her and didn't feel worthy of protecting her. She was her mother and she didn't think she could protect her. Though Chyna and Prince thought otherwise.
