Hovering over the long and tall pickle jar, she stuck her fork inside searching for the right pickle. It can't be too juicy, not too big, but crunchy and small.

"I got it!" She shouted in excitement. It's like watching a kid on a crane machine. Constantly trying to get that toy while she's trying to get that pickle.

Pulling her fork out, she took a bite of her pickle and sat back against the couch with her eyes closed savoring the same taste she's been tasting for the last five pickles.

"You're being dramatic" He bluntly stated. He used to like pickles, but when he became a vampire, he hated the smell and the aftertaste. It would linger in his mouth, on his breath no matter how many times he brushed his teeth, or how many mints he ate.

It would always be there. Now he has a pregnant mate who eats pickles every single day in the morning. Seriously, he has a singled-out shelf in the pantry with pickle jars.

"No, I think that's more so a Chloe thing" She chuckled. "It's not" Chloe strolled over to Lumi and Trevon.

Fifteen years ago, he and Chloe found out they were blood mates and Lumi didn't exactly like that. However, three months later, she had a change of heart. One day she showed up at his house and Chloe was of course there.

She explained how she would try to make it work and they did just that. It was difficult in the beginning, but soon Chloe stopped disliking Lumi and Lumi stopped disliking the whole polygamy relationship and joined one.

It was his mother, Legend, and Trevor all over again. Except for this time, it's two women and also, he didn't marry either one of them. He didn't want anyone to feel above the other even if Chloe technically is above Lumi by just being his blood mate.

However, a bump in the becoming a three-way relationship was Chloe being pregnant. The day they learned of being blood mates was the start of her pregnancy journey. Of course, not literally. It takes a week to declare you're pregnant and that's exactly what happened.

When they got situated, he had Chloe check if she was pregnant two weeks after what happened, and she was. He didn't tell anyone, and no one knew either. But then when Lumi came around and she saw the baby bump, she was distant once again.

Soon the guilt of leaving Chloe when she was pregnant with Sossi took over and she came back and cared for her just as he did. Chloe had his firstborn Izaiah.

After she had him, she completed the transition and became a hybrid. Since she was a Beta, she was strong enough to become a hybrid and not just a vampire.

Then she had a set of twins. Tyler who's a wolf and Kash who's just a vampire. He didn't name Kash. That was all Chloe.

Around the same time, Lumi got pregnant and later had her, yet another set of twins named Judah and Atlas. Despite being twins, Judah is the youngest.

Then the next one that's still in her stomach that's overdue already. His name will be Zaire. Only hybrids born were Tyler, and Judah while the others are just wolves.

Zaire most likely will just be a wolf because Lumi is still just a wolf. Lumi is a Gamma which isn't a higher rank wolf so she would become a vampire only.

She has to partake in a ritual since she's past age to be a vampire. This is also not possible because not one witch will help make yet another vampire and their family is done for witches.

Specifically, it's his fault.

Lifting Trevon off his feet, he was yanked towards Travion, and next, he felt this sharp pain in his neck that grew more painful as he screamed. He felt as his blood was being drained out of him and trickling down his neck.
